Im thinking of going for Ruan Mei e1 and s1 but im not sure.. i just started playing when her first banner dropped and i couldn't get her and now that i have her i feel like e1 s1 its needed but i could get ffe1 instead.. not sure
E1 RM gives 20% def reduction on ult, which translates to 13-20% damage increase with 66% uptime. It's nice, but doesn't change her gameplay so I skipped E1. S1 RM LC gives +1 SP regen on ult, which is nice when you put in on HMC team, you should be able to ult every 2nd turn giving you extra 0.5SP per action on average. E1 FF reduces sp usage by around 66%, assuming (4E during her ult 2 outside). So 0.66 per action, but she also acts more often than HTB. However, getting FF E1 only boots FF, while RM S1 is cheaper to get, has weaker effect, but could be used outside FF teams as well. RM LC could be used even without RM. RM LC may have longer longevity than FF E1, but doesn't benefit FF as much. I would say neither E1 RM, S1 RM nor R1 FF is needed to clear current content.
@@karantej6702 I would really like to go for E2, E2 would make FF great in PF alongside Himeko. E2 FF makes her into completely different unit. E2 could enable a lot of interesting gameplay options as support in the future after she gets powercrept: 1) Theoretically if you plan your turns and break enemy with basic then use basic again, you make FF SP positive, make her regenerate 2 SP every action while having 200+ speed on average 2) Or you could use her as fire SW, where she could apply fire weakness twice per action while using not skill points. 3) You could use her in dual dps comps once more dps character come out. However, I failed 50/50 twice on her. I could get her E1, but her E2 would be only 50/50 so I decided to get her on rerun instead. If I didn't fail twice, just once, I would be able to guarantee E2, but I was out of luck :/ E1 RM buff is just worth 10% on average. It would be more beneficial to save for 5* HMC or 5* Gullager, I expect new 5* support to provide much higher benefit than just 10% extra damage.
I have E1S1 Firefly and E0S1 Ruan Mei from all my pulls. I won my 50/50 on Firefly,Ruan Mei and E1 Firefly. I will be trying to get E2 Firefly and E1 Ruan Mei on their rerun. I went for E1 Firefly because I want to make sure Stella can use her skill more for Firefly. I just got E1 Firefly this morning so I don't have enough tickets to get more.

i could’ve gotten her e4 s1 without spending but i just decided to go e0s0 fire fly got e1s1 ruan saving for a limited sustainer huohuo for my dot team and lingsha i really don’t wanna spend money on this game tbh so im saving again
I tried to go for E1, but I failed 50/50 twice. I ended up maxing up Gallager/Xueyi/Misha, so I stopped pulling. I'm 35 pulls away from hard pity to get her E1, I could get her with 80 tickets left, but I think I'll just get her E1 or E2 on rerun, luck wasn't on my side this time. Currently no content requires E1/E2 Firefly, once more units come out E1 could enable new team compositions for dual dps with her. Meta may also change making Firefly irrelevant, for example if they add 60% fire res or add enemies locking their toughness bar. Still I would rather get E1/E2 FF than E1 RM, because E1/E2 FF change her playstyle, while E1 RM is just damage buff.
@@danielending3381 Himeko is pretty good for PF, it's definitely worth building her. FF synergizes with Himeko pretty well. Firefly adds fire weakness to enemy, which allows Himeko to break more enemies with her ult/talent, which triggers Himeko's talent breaking even more targets. It's pretty nice synergy.
@@danielending3381Nice! At E4 Himeko becomes unstoppable in PF. You gain +1 charge on weakness break, so you only need to break 2 mobs instead of 3. This leads to more triggers of talent, which leads to more breaks and even more triggers of her talent. This makes Firefly synergize even better with Himeko.
I was thinking of giving for Firefly e1 or e2 for the fun factor, but after hearing some fortune telling about the 2.4 characters I may want both of them and I am due for losing a 50/50 after getting Firefly.

Firefly's E1 could also have been one of Seele's eidolons way back.
Got lucky with a few early RM first pulls and was able to end up with E1S0 FF and E1S1 RM. Will try to get at FF to E2 hopefully.

I ultimately chose to go for E1 because of the defense ignore. That plus her relics can give her super break damage a big boost.
