Gem do you remember Gloria Hunnyford? She was a millionaire but still cut her toothpaste tube in half to get everything out. This advice has saved me at least £2.45 since 1987. Cut that hand cream tube in half and sleep easy.😂💓😘

Thanks Gemma! I’ve been getting itchy feet lately and wanting to travel for the first time in years. At the same time, I’ve finally begun tending to my home: sweeping the stairs, cutting flowers from the garden and putting them in the bow clean bathroom, attacking one depressing and grubby corner at a time. I haven’t watched the video yet, but before I forget, yes, I’ve been watching the moon rise and set since I was about 12. 😁 i’m not sure how you missed that, but I think it’s funny. No offense meant, of course. When the sun and moon rise together, we have a new moon, which is when we can’t see the moon. When the moon is rising at the same time as the sun is setting and they’re opposite each other, we have a full moon, which is why that guide on the page had the moon phases. You can tell where the sun is at by how much of the moon is lit up. I have to remind myself sometimes that the moon is reflecting light, not generating it. I have a tip for your handcream. When I open a new bottle, I keep the old one, and after I’ve used some out of the new one, I unscrew the plunger out of the old and the new one, and I balance the almost empty bottle directly on top of the new one and leave it for a couple of days and it drains into the new one. That way I don’t waste any. I hate waste! Capricorn Sun here. Of course you can’t touch it during those days, so I always have at least two bottles going at the same time in different rooms. 💕

I definitely feel like the younger generations aren’t as strong as we were at their age. Most Gen X & Millennials grew up at a time when parents didn’t want you fighting & running around in the house. We would be gone for hours (before cell phones) and knew to come home once the street lights turned on or our parents would yell for us to come home. The younger ones are more about being on cell phones, tablets & all the different gaming devices. We played games in schools like dodge ball that I’ve recently learned are now banned for being too dangerous. It also doesn’t help that their foods aren’t as healthy as they were when we were growing up so they don’t get as many nutrients (at least in the US where they pump the animals we eat with so much crap to make them larger).

I didn't understand until I was a witchier adult that the moon followed regular rhythms and that there were many nights when it wasn't up in the sky at all because it was only up during the day. The Moon Diary shows the rising and setting times of the moon as well as the sun each day, and I check its timing now and then but mostly I feel pretty aware of what it's doing throughout each month. I love being moon-aware. 🎑🙏❤
