1,000+ Subscriber Special: A Garbage Day in North Central

- I know I'm late and I have a perfectly good reason lol, I was gathering enough footage necessary for this video. Let me know how it turned out! For the past 3 weeks I've been trying to complete this video. Thank you all for 1,000+ subscribers! It took 5 years to get this far and I'm excited to bring even more content. First off, I've lived in North Central Los Angeles my entire life, so to do this video is pretty important to me. North Central was in fact the first city sanitation yard established, and is the hardest yard (non-biased) to collect in. Storing over 150+ garbage trucks, located on 452 N. San Fernando Rd, the North Central yard services it's areas six days out of the week. Areas filmed in this video are: Highland Park, Silver Lake, Westlake, Angelino Heights, Chinatown, Echo Park, Little Armenia, East Hollywood, Hollywood, Whitley Heights, Beachwood Canyon, Hancock Park, Central LA, and Koreatown.
I have way too many drivers to thank for this video, especially Danny C., Alex F., Draper, Randy, and many many more. I also want to thank the supervisor (household) Albert for showing me inside CLARTS (Central Los Angeles Recycling & Transfer Station). Thank you to a lot of you encouraging me to continue and getting the best footage I can. Truck at 10:30 was sexy!!! That's some nice chrome he's got! Loved all the minis in the video whether they were diesel, CNG or LNG. The new 520 RLs are super cool with the bucket attachment and that's coming from someone who does not like RLs 🤣 wouldn't mind seeing one on a full on bulk route, can't recall seeing a video of that yet unless I'm missing one. 36153 looked incredible!!! Bet that guy must be so happy he doesn't have to go to landfill to dump lol. Crazy to think those FLs are all tip to dump, bet it makes unloading bulk a lot easier lol. Still think you should've had the old CLARTS clips added in 😉 nice vid & congrats on 1k!
Haha that was the legend behind the wheel, Kenny Fox!! The minis will always be my favorite trucks, I like the bucket attachments, it feels easier and safer loading things in. Full video of 153 coming pretty soon! Lol, the bulk trucks were just in and out of the dump while the side loaders just sat there 😂. I wish I was there to see the old CLARTS footage lmao. Awesome video and congrats on hitting 1k! Always enjoy a video of trucks rolling out the yard, same with them rolling back in. Also enjoyed watching some of the minis in action. Also loved the clips of the trucks offloading. Honestly this is one of the best compilations of LA trucks I've seen. Amazing work!

Thank you! They roll offs dump at the same transfer station, most of their routes are spread out through city facilities. Yes, I was told they always have to have the dump empty by the end of the day. Thank you so much!
