I was born in Cumbria, many happy day trips to St Bees when I was a child, my parents are gone now, & this video brings back memories.

My first visit to St Bees was way back in 1980, I arrive at 5.30am after travelling from the other end of the country. Rather than wait for daylight I set off in the dark and stopped at the YHA Black Sail. Loved every step of the way. Tony in Essex

Really enjoyed watching this walk. You walked past our front door in Ennerdale - if I'd known, I would have offered you a cuppa! I particularly enjoyed every piece of accompaning music, excellent choices! Do you have access to the music list at all please? Happy next Adventures!

    Beautiful coastline to hike on❣️👍🏻👍🏻
I was glad all those cows were running awaaaay from you❣️😮
Boy the views on land are soooo different, everything is all plotted out,
but very pretty in its own right. Yes I’d say the “steep descents” in England
would not be a problem for you, FreeWalker❣️😃
    Looks very interesting❣️👍🏻👍🏻
God bless and keep you safe❣️🥾🥾🥾

Maintenance is the resonsibility of the National Parks that it passes through and the Farmers who land you pass over. But yes some hikers also make small additions by moving some fallen trees from across the path or clearing out obstructions on the path.

Prepping for my C2C this May. Couple? Was the train from London to St Bees easy to navigate and how long did it take? And what did you use to film your trip with? Well done sir, nice soft music with occasional comments.

Yes it does tend to rain alot in the Lake District, But without the rain there would be no Lakes or Waterfall to gaze at while resting and ejoying the views.

Dear Evandro, could you share with us the name of the app your using ? You mentioned it, but I couldn't understand you. Thank you in advance.

The app is now called Far Out. They used to be called Guthook, but they changed name this year. This is the same app I used on the Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail.

Love the coastal path - tend to walk it multiple times a year, from Whitehaven to St Bees and back again (using the shorter route by the railway as I return) - so I know it very well (enough to notice at least one out of sequence shot). I start the C2C in 3 days time - walking with an organised walking group so hotels, luggage transfers and a guide. Watching a few videos to familiarise myself with the challenge. So glad it has been announced that the trail is to be adopted - hopefully they'll do something about the A19 crossing?

Crossing the A19 was quite scary.

I really enjoyed the Coast to Coast. It has made me consider hiking in Scotland next year. Let’s try to do it together. There are a couple of trails there that we can do it. The most challenging is the Cape Wrath Trail. IB Tat is starting the Scottish National Trail at any time now. I’ll be watching his videos. When are going to NZ?
