One currency for all African countries is ambitious if not opaque on face value. Some countries will pull out from the union when it becomes apparent that their "National security and relationship" to powerful allies in Europe, USA and China are at risk. Economic Powerhouses such as Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa will typically benefit more because these countries already have established economic trade policies in their respective regions prior decades ago. It has not brought equity in Europe under the Euro, nor did it raise the economic standards of Eastern Europe. For Africa , it remains an economic experiment.

Kenya is not a powerhouse economically in Africa... I will think about Algeria, Egypt, etc. before mentioninig Kenya
