Is there a big difference between the two, or is the df64 harder to update, like changing filters?

Hi there! You will be happy with both grinders. The DF64 is more powerful and capable across all grinding ranges, especially when it comes to light roasts. The VS3 is simple and enjoyable to use, but as you are using the Flair58, which requires finner settings than usual, the DF64 will be the better option ☕️🤍
This might need to be my Christmas present. Took my grinder apart after adding a little too much water to the beans and jamming it and found out the burr was 💩. To be fair it was cheap.
Hey! We did say pay attention not to over wet rhe beans and a water bottle woth a splash would be the best solution 💯 . This is a really cool and minimalistic grider. Sorry to hijack the conversation, but for what it's worth I live in Spain and I'm in the market for a minimalist style grinder that produces excellent 'single dose' ground coffee, something that won't break the bank but I'm also willing to pay extra for quality & something that has the potential to, at the very least, live as long as my LELIT PL62X MaraX and for something that would compliment the Mara X in terms of the coffee brewed. A single dose grinder that has a nice simple / minimalist design aesthetic and with a relatively small footprint is super important for me as I am coming from the LELIT FRED PL043MMI grinder that only allows for the big bean hopper to remain situated atop the grinder. I've checked Amazon here and it's actually really difficult to source quality grinders from there unless they're the espresso machine branded ones. Would you have any suggestions for me by any chance or even maybe a pointer in the right direction of a retailer that is trustworthy in my region of the world? I definitely like the look of this grinder in the shorts video though, it has all the qualities I'm looking for, well, if it grinds coffee beans to the same standard of its design that is ;)

You could also do what I did; spent £120 on a new Mignon filtro and buy the espresso burrs for a few quid, then boom you’ve got the same grinder as the rest of the espresso lineup 😊

Hi there! It is understandable that you thought like that, but it is not. It is using the same burr as the MadeByKnock Aergrind grinder and the Normcore V2 grinder. The geometry of this burr is referred to as "Contemporary Burrs" . We will speak more about it in our espresso review which is coming very soon ☕️🖤

Hi there! As our friend had already said, the Gaggia Classic Pro is a wonderful option at that price. You can pair it with a manual grinder for espresso like the Kingrinder K3 or the Urbanic 070s as an electric grinder.
If you wish only for espresso without the milk, considering the Flair Pro 2 as a manual machine. We intend to review it very soon ☕️🤍

Hi there, in general, flat burrs will give better clarity and tasting notes. Conical burrs will give better body and mouth feel.

I would advise against this grinder for pour over. It's the same mechanism as a Turin SD40, which I own. The diameter of the burrs and high RPM they spin at makes for a muddy, low clarity pour over. You're much better off with a Eureka Filtro or a Fellow Ode, which use larger flat burrs at a lower RPM.
It's that big, and they thought about all the 'details', yet they couldn't integrate the power supply?

It’s entirely fair to compare it because the Niche is currently the conical grinder to beat at anything up until its price point.
