Don't roll your own Blockchain, I guess this doesn't include polkadot... Imagine if private companies were able to build motorways and the unique vehicles to drive on them, with no safety standards or oversight of any kind. Plus, these motorway companies competed against each other due to the profit incentive, and didn't cooperate, sniping at each other. Hopefully people building crypto will recognise that it is necessary to have a collective conversation about processes which should be followed to build these things, and then all to adhere to them, preferably by encouraging laws to be made which enforce that.
