I live here in Cherokee and I want to reach out to the people who may be wanting to visit here or stay. PLEASE do not stay at a Airbnb. There has been cases of cameras that have been spying on people in the last couple of years. It's not out to the public because they don't want to scare their tourist friends away. By all means please stay at a motel or hotel IF you can. I highly recommend it. I want you to enjoy the place I live but please think about it. Stay safe.
@@floridagirl386 as we do pretty much in all of America. Visiting their businesses, restaurants, and attractions supports the people working there though. We can't have all small towns be wiped off the map. We have to support them by visiting. 🙂
It is actually a free sound on TH-cam. We put the names of all the songs we use in the description area so people know what they are. People really seem to enjoy driving tours of areas. We have done a few. It is a way to explore an area you have never seen. Thanks for watching!
It's just not super welcoming. We enjoyed everything beyond the "strip" there. The shop owners/runners, were so uninviting. Especially in one shop on the strip down where you turn to go towards the school. She was ruthless following us around and so unkind.
We have never had that experience with the people there but every trip is different. That stinks that you didn't have a good time. Thanks for watching! 🙂

Cherokee had its day in the sun, but that sun set a long time ago
It seems like a lot of small towns have had some trouble. It is still nice to support small businesses and learn about other cultures.
