Toilet & Elevator Tour: Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Dallas TX

This building is one of the coolest I've seen! Very awesome elevators with clear shaft that lets you see a rare view of the 3 elevators going up and down. Also very long escalators that go up 4 floors. Plus Toto Toilets and Urinals!

American toilets and urinals are so much more interesting than the rather uninspiring (boring) examples we have here in the UK - with the powerful suction and whirlpool action of the toilet which puts the European Types (the Washdown Bowl) that the UK uses to shame. The urinals in the states are much better too. The new type Automatic (with Manual Override) Flushes (shown on your video) are so much better than the early Auto Flush system which was in use when I last went to the states on vacation in the 1990's (visited the USA from the late 1980's until the mid 1990's in different states), as the early auto system was prone to malfunctioning (resulting in toilet flushing sporadically when no one was near the sensor panel) but the manual flush valve types were great as well as the more domestic tank-top versions. I would one day love to return to the USA to rekindle my childhood memories!

I like this video great to see the skyscrapers against a cloudless sky from a hight. Of course the restrooms at the end of the video were a nice treat at the end. Unusual sinks. At least if I come to the States again operating Taps etc may not be so daunting for me after watching these excellent videos. Can't wait to see more. I especially liked these cream coloured potties (using your word for them)! I liked the flushes as well.

The Announcement Chime at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science was stolen from many Carnival Cruise Ships, like the Palisade, Fantasy, Ecstasy, Triumph (now gone), Prime, Glory, and Vista (no not Windows Vista). Even the Carnival Pristine and Carnival Platinum Cruise Ships have that chime and so do the Carnival Gold, Carnival Silver, and Carnival Bronze.

It's dye from the water cleaner. The museum actually uses reclaimed water in their non-potable water lines. The water in these toilets come from rain water that they store in cisterns!
