Got this with a spongebob cd from a weird mp3 cd player with a small screen as a kid. Somehow related to this song. Now im 26 and moved away from home because my familly is garbage. Living the song
this song means a lot to someone like me who is called a "walking disaster" almost everyday. thank you Sum 41 for giving me a way to have pride when i hear that.
"Walking Disaster" lyrics I haven't been home for a while, I'm sure everything's the same: Mom and Dad both in denial, an only child to take the blame. Sorry Mom but I don't miss you, Father's no name you deserve. I'm just a kid with no ambitions, wouldn't come home for the world. {You'll} never know what I've become, the king of all that's said and done. The forgotten son? This city's buried in defeat, I walk along these no name streets, Wave goodbye to all, as I fall... At the dead end I begin to burn the bridge of innocence. Satisfaction guaranteed, a pill away catastrophe. On a mission, nowhere bound, inhibitions underground, A shallow grave I have dug all by myself. And now I've been gone for so long I can't remember who was wrong. All innocence is long gone. I pledge allegiance to a world of disbelief where I belong. A walking disaster, the son of all bastards. You regret you made me, it's too late to save me. (You regret you made me, it's too late to save me.) (And he said) Far as I can tell, it's just voices in my head. Am I talking to myself? 'Cause I don't know what I just said. (And she said) Far is where I fell, maybe I'm better off dead. Am I at the end of nowhere? Is this as good as it gets? And now I've been gone for so long I can't remember who was wrong. All innocence is long gone. I pledge allegiance to a world of disbelief where I belong. A walking disaster, the son of all bastards. You regret you made me, it's too late to save me. (To save me, to save me, to save me...) And now I've been gone for so long I can't remember who was wrong. All innocence is long gone. I pledge allegiance to a world of disbelief where I belong. A walking disaster, the son of all bastards. You regret you made me, it's too late to save me. I will be home in a while, you don't have to say a word. I can't wait to see you smile, wouldn't miss it for the world. I will be home in a while, you don't have to say a word. I can't wait to see you smile, wouldn't miss it for the world.
i think, the main thing is: people today don't even THINK of music, they just listen to it. For myself, I listen to very much types of music, from that real trve metal shit to hip hop, pop, rock, soundtracks. music is not just something you listen too. you have to feel it and to listen to it not just with your ears, but also with your brain. music has to be understood, not just consumed. and nowadays, everybody is just following the main stream of people, not even thinking about meaning of music
I heard this song for the first time in a long time in a store the other day and it brought back so many memories.. I can't believe I forgot about this song
Honestly, I don't care why they listen to "tasteful music", but they do, maybe they discover some artists they would never discover, maybe they just want to talk about how different they are for not enjoying the current artists, maybe they were just bored and wanted to get into what their older brothers were into back in the day. In the end, people are listening to quality music, and ultimately enjoying themselves, which, in reality, is the reason why music exists.
Yeah you're not alone brother, so many years later, still fucked up. But we must keep our heads up and move on, if no one is going to save us, we must do it on our own.
true story, i hear sum 41 and my brother David Guetta, Enrique eglesia and many more softsong.. but i Love SUM 41!!! so we fight every day who can hear hes own music :D
I looking for this song almost 10 years! God, that was difficult! Lyric in my head was wrong and I remember only toy robot. By the way, thanks for this cool song guys, i love this.
I remember when that toy came out, that shit was expensive and I was the first kid to have it, lol. Just found it in a bin the other day along with the spider one and gave it to some kid. Good times.
Miss this era too much.. 💔
This band is so underrated, they're so fucking good
at least they get millions of views. some bands, like 12 stones, only get thousands on TH-cam.
@ piano girl 12 stones are fantastic...
John smolko
They were one of the biggest pop punk bands around at one point.
@@joelowdon1615 that's right .... This guy must be a young man
Still one of my most loved songs

how can someone dislike this awesome song?
Can´t believe such a gem has only 2 600 000 views and all pop shit has so much more...
nowadays music is overhyped as people like to jump into the bandwagon.
11 years later and this song still bops
16 years later

"Walking Disaster" lyrics
I haven't been home for a while,
I'm sure everything's the same:
Mom and Dad both in denial,
an only child to take the blame.
Sorry Mom but I don't miss you,
Father's no name you deserve.
I'm just a kid with no ambitions,
wouldn't come home for the world.
{You'll} never know what I've become,
the king of all that's said and done.
The forgotten son?
This city's buried in defeat,
I walk along these no name streets,
Wave goodbye to all,
as I fall...
At the dead end I begin
to burn the bridge of innocence.
Satisfaction guaranteed,
a pill away catastrophe.
On a mission, nowhere bound,
inhibitions underground,
A shallow grave I
have dug all by myself.
And now I've been gone for so long
I can't remember who was wrong.
All innocence is long gone.
I pledge allegiance to a world of disbelief where I belong.
A walking disaster,
the son of all bastards.
You regret you made me,
it's too late to save me.
(You regret you made me,
it's too late to save me.)
(And he said)
Far as I can tell,
it's just voices in my head.
Am I talking to myself?
'Cause I don't know what I just said.
(And she said)
Far is where I fell,
maybe I'm better off dead.
Am I at the end of nowhere?
Is this as good as it gets?
And now I've been gone for so long
I can't remember who was wrong.
All innocence is long gone.
I pledge allegiance to a world of disbelief where I belong.
A walking disaster,
the son of all bastards.
You regret you made me,
it's too late to save me.
(To save me, to save me, to save me...)
And now I've been gone for so long
I can't remember who was wrong.
All innocence is long gone.
I pledge allegiance to a world of disbelief where I belong.
A walking disaster,
the son of all bastards.
You regret you made me,
it's too late to save me.
I will be home in a while,
you don't have to say a word.
I can't wait to see you smile,
wouldn't miss it for the world.
I will be home in a while,
you don't have to say a word.
I can't wait to see you smile,
wouldn't miss it for the world.
