Could you please tell me why we use interfaces in Spring framework instead of abstract classes? I know multiple interfaces can be extended by a class. But why not just use abstract classes for common implementation?
@@mayankbhardwaj4273 sure thing - I'll do my best. The use of interfaces feel more suited to Spring (in my humble opinion) because by their nature they are useful for Spring's dependency injection philosophy, allows for multiple inheritance when needed, and lets you create a codebase aimed at "contract driven" development - you can define a system of objects and dependencies using interfaces to make sure that everything implemented at a concrete level follows the expected design of the interfaces.
