Air compressors with short pipe exhaust were very synonymous with logging steam locomotives as well as the mighty Southern Pacific cab forward locomotives
Looking forward to 1385's rebuild being completed and the old girl hitting the high iron again! Quick question though, will y'all convert it over to a 26L air brake system or stick with the one it had the last time the fire was dropped?

As of now we can still get the Schedule 6 brake portions serviced as easily as the Schedule 26 so we don't plan to make any changes there.
