Here is a very cool old VC HDT I spotted today. Please hit that 👍Like button and Subscribe for more old car content. Plus, check out the Holden Commodore Playlist and the Car Spotter Playlist and much more! 👍
Howdy Mike . Love the videos. I've recently come across a channel called "Quarter Light". He is a Pommie living in Canada that gets all the official Car Brochures from around the World and takes you through them page by page. He is expanding his list of Aussie Cars including Commodores and Falcons and I think it Dovetails nicely with a lot of your work. Cheers and keep em coming!!
@@AlecJohn-c5o Thanks. I have pretty well all the brochures. I do have a brochure playlist but only a few episodes on there at the moment. Cheers Mark 👍
@@markbehr88 Cool. I'll keep an eye out for them. It's interesting hearing a Pom go through it especially with the 6 cylinder Cortina variants which are a bit of a novelty for them...almost like "What the hell..? " Cheers.
Gives credence to the theory that the original or earlier styling of a vehicle series is usually the best. VC looks better than VB simply due to the grille, and they are a more timeless design than VL. Same goes for VN and VT IMO
@markbehr88 That's what I thought, it's just that the seam ( gap) against the body is difficult to spot , those flares were obviously very well made , to fit that nicely.

Good spot mate, me and my mates in the 80’s always wondered why Holden never released the VD commodore 😉

Nice to see someone willing to risk their $150K collector car on a run down to the local supermarket.
You'd be surprised how many people drive their valuable cars 🤔

Were the extra wide flared guards done in steel, or fiberglass?
