    If you can’t decide what to use kohl’s cash on, you can use it to buy toys or kids clothes and donate them :)

    Here's some clarity to some of what you're saying: Often times, they give you $10.00 in Kohl's Cash for every $50.00 you spent before sales tax (if your subtotal is only $48.50, you get zero Kohl's Cash). On some occasions (during all of Black Friday week and very seldom or random days during the year) they will give you $15.00 in Kohl's Cash for every $50.00 you spend (also before tax). The down side, is that you usually only get around a week or so to spend it (usually the period that starts for you to spend your cash is a few days or so after you made your original purchase, but keep an eye out and make sure you make every effort to use your Cash before it expires). You can basically use Kohl's Cash on anything in the store including items that you can't use the "percentage off" coupons on such as Nike, but if you return the items you purchased to earn the Cash then your Kohl's Cash does in fact decrease in value and possibly even cancels out all together if you return the entire original purchase. If you already used your Kohl's Cash prior to returning your original purchase, I think this either reduces the return value of your original purchase or it reduces the return value of what you purchase with your Kohl's Cash. For example, I once bought a set of Food Network dishes and found several of them to be broken when I later opened them but when I went to return them there was only a small return value of around $5.00 on an item that originally cost me $45.00. This was obviously disappointing, but since it was within a certain period of time since the purchase I was able to exchange them for the same set since the original purchase was defective. Another Hint: Let's say you buy a lot of stuff at Kohl's which earns you $100.00 in Kohl's Cash, and then as usual only have a few days timeframe to use the Kohl's Cash. Just go and buy something large (such as a vacuum cleaner) with your Kohl's Cash, but then take it to another Kohl's store (unopened and in the original packaging) to return it. Policy requires that they give you your Kohl's Cash back, but in this case they give you "Blue" Kohl's Cash that is actually good for an entire 30 days (or even longer, in some cases). This allows you to maximize the value of your Kohl's Cash and use it on items when they are on sale for a lower price. For example, I racked up a bunch of purchases in the 2nd week of November which earned me $180.00 in Kohl's Cash which I originally had to use by today (November 21, just prior to the start of Black Friday Week). I used all of the cash on a large item, returned it the next day, and now I again have my entire $180.00 in Kohl's Cash back which I can use up until December 21, which encompasses the week that Khol's actually has the best sales of the year. Under this scenario, I can likely purchase the same item I just returned but use far less Kohl's Cash than I did initially while having some left over to buy something else. You mentioned in your video that sometimes they'll let you use Kohl's cash after it's expired. I wouldn't ever depend on this because it's often up to the manager on duty to allow this. Depending on what kind of mood that person is in, you won't get your way. Example: If you have $10.00 of expired Cash you want to use, but your only going to pay a few bucks out of pocket then they'll say NO. But say your Cash only expired a couple days prior and your making a large purchase that reduces your bill down buy only $10.00 or so then they'd likely give you a break and apply the expired Cash. Keep in mind, that regardless of how you use Kohl's Cash, any "Percentage off" discounts only apply after you use your Cash. For instance, if you find a coffee maker on sale for $99.99 (regular price at $129.99) and you want to apply $20.00 in Kohl's Cash, the $20.00 comes off first, reducing the sale price to $79.99 and then an percentage off coupons you have (regardless of your method of payment) is applied at that point.

    Please don't let your Kohls Kash expire. You can use it online if you can't go in store. In addition you can avoid shipping costs (on most items) if you order from the Kiosks in the store. If nothing else you can always use it to stock up on basics like socks and underwear for the family or to donate to a shelter. I hope you got the Rewards card. You earn points for each purchase which gives you a credit to spend each quarter. You may still be able to take in that receipt and sign up and get those reward points.

    Yes! That's Kohl's cash is awesome. Mine usually says you need to make a $10 purchase to use your $10 "bill" but other than that- no restrictions.

    Kohl's is a rip off. I bought a $60 item and got $10 Kohl's cash. I found the same item on Amazon for $40.50. same with several other items. Kohl's cash is a shell game. Just put a reasonable price on the item and stop the stupid back and forth. This system is for stupid people thinking they get free money or a good price.

    PEOPLE BY THE TIME YOU GO REDEEM, prices
    Are higher! TRUST ME ! You DONT SAVE !
    They increase prices when you go back to store to redeem!

    • @FunandBudget
      @FunandBudget  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      But it doesn't change the fact that you can go back and end up with free things - if I have $40 Kohl's cash and my purchases come to $38 - I pay nothing.

    • @drewagardy
      @drewagardy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No they don't. I haven't seen kohls raise their prices because of 1 customer

    • @jessicalynn6285
      @jessicalynn6285 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Blondie Royce
      This makes NO sense. Right now I have $50 in Kohl's cash. So you're saying.. they will increase the prices on the items when I go back to spend it? They will increase the prices on the items they magically know I'm going to pick to spend my Kohl's cash on before I arrive at the store? Do they have a crystal ball? Oh.. maybe a psychic. Is it that? Does every Kohl's employ a psychic? They see a customer walk in, know what they have Kohl's cash, know what they're gonna buy and use their little radio thingy to tell another employee to hurry up and change the price? And they do this for millions of people that use Kohl's cash everyday? Those scamming fuckers!!!
      Do you hear how stupid that sounds? I can't fathom how someone could think Kohl's created "Kohl's cash", a marketing strategy, a way to get more customers and also have their customers shop at their store more. Spend $50 and get $10 for free? Yes! Great business strategy to get people to continue to buy more and more at Kohl's instead of another store. So they do ALL OF THAT, only to then do some elaborate price change shit, just to piss off all of their customers and lose them?
      And how? HOW would Kohl's even be able to do this? Have items at a specific price and then "increase the prices when you go back". How would they even know what items people will use their Kohl's cash on in order to change those prices before they go buy them!?? Please, I'm dying for you to respond and tell me.
      Maybe you don't understand how sales work, and that's what all this is. You saw an item on sale you wanted but decided to buy it later and you got some Kohl's cash for the stuff you did buy that day. When you went back to get that item, the sale had ended. And you were outraged they "raised" the price so you didn't save anything.
      I know grocery stores that raise prices for some items while other items are on sale. They also disguise savings by doing BOGOs (buy one get one free) but they raise the price before they have that sale. If they have pasta on sale, they might raise the price of spaghetti sauce. But we are talking change here. A jar of sauce might go from $1.50 to $1.79. It's hardly noticeable.
      But a Kohl's cash conspiracy??? Telling people TRUST ME, lol. You're crazy!
