the belts that i use in my pioneer decks never done that , a technics i own since early 80´s was stoped for 15 years and when opening it it was just like that but i have a deck from pioneer from the same year that was stoped for 27 years didn´t melt the belts
My pioneer cts-830s won't open & close door properly and very similar to yours inside, the door belt is there ok but not sure if it's stretched or slipping, have tried a couple of things but still the same..this door belt looks a pain to change as it's trapped in there, was this easy to strip down at all..thx
why are you afraid of loosing costumers, in several countries good technitians got old and there´s no new ones to repair simple electronic devices, regards

And the size of the third, square belt is?
