In this video we take a look at a new product to bring up the PH level of our hay field. We are trying to raise the PH in order to gain higher yields per acre of hay. So, we decided to give Super Lime Plus a try, we are hoping to improve the hay this year and waiting on ag lime just seems to take forever. Super Lime Plus still takes time just not as much, so i've read. Follow along with us as we try out this product and try to save our hayfield.

I have used Super Lime Plus and I can say it works. My hunting club used it on our fields with great results. We have also used Cal-Flo liquid lime it is thick to use but it works well also with immediate results.

Glad to hear about liquid lime for a sprayer, our elevator does not spread lime (dry)anymore I have a sprayer so I will be looking into this product, thanks for the information.

what is the APP for measuring you did and How long do they say the Lime plus will last. Is it a yearly thing. Thanks for the video
GPS fields area measure. Not sure exactly how long but I believe it is comparable to aglime, after first application you would soil test the following year and maybe do maintenance sprays at least that’s my understanding of it

I don't know many farmers who lime every year. Why? Because they don't look for easy quick fixes. They do it properly so the ph stabilizes long term.
That’s why we’re trying it out, to see what the results are short term and long term. Follow up videos will be coming
Are you applying again this year?
No I’m actually going to be applying another one of their products called litter fix, it is to help build organic matter and to help build the root structure of the grass. I don’t know all the details just yet but will be posting updates as I go.
this stuff stopped up my sprayer over and over, very aggravating
I haven’t had any problem with that at all and I use a lower pressure electric sprayer that only builds about 35psi but I do use flood nozzles so the openings are larger
