Would of been a Badass shifter.
It still may be, as soon as I make another to put in the Model A
Was going to say the same, would make for a nice shift knob
Definitely a bada$$ shifter idea
yoooo thats what im saying i was lookig throuh the comments to see if someone said that already
Yes, but with full bullets
Those would make awesome shifter knobs especially for a rat rod.
Yes they would !
great idea. Someone with the skills and tools can make some money selling those.
House of Speed has them.. Used to be a guy named Rip that was doing Lokar Knobs and I can't find him any more... Only been 10 yrs....
Nice work. You clearly know what you are doing.
Thank You ! Nope I was winging it, first time I've turned brass
Love it, great idea to color the insides, the contrast is awesome. You've given me some ideas for future projects, thank you.
Thank You
I know most people don’t want to be bored but I’m a believer that seeing the mistakes that others make saves me from making the same or at least how to deal with thank you for sharing your knowledge
Thank You ! I think mistakes should also be in a project, it helps other realize we all make mistakes and to not give up, work through them and finish what you started.
I'm with these guys, I want to see your process of creating the pieces that you do. That includes all your goofs and "mistakes". Keep em coming!
Thank You...
Awesome
Not many people learn from others mistakes sometimes I don't learn from my own
i want to make a shift knob for my car with some shell casings that my grandfather gifted to me when i was younger since he helped me buy that car months before he passed away
That Red Color made them look way cooler than it already did
Thank you Jeff
@@PohlBarnProductions No problem! thanks for these great videos!
Oh man, I would love to gift my hubby with a set of those. He would be the coolest dude at work & I would get some serious kudos.
That is one of the coolest things I’ve seen! Great work! Thanks for sharing.
Thank You !
You do great work, you are one creative individual, I'm excited about these channels with all these lil amazing gifts that I'll be destroying till I'm good enough!! Hey God bless you bro!!
No mistakes - just happy accidents! (Hopefully happy ones anyway)
My husband, a former SeaBee, and trained Diesel Mechanic, would LOVE a set of these in Phillips and Flat! Great job!
-Ellen
That. Is. Absolutely. AWESOME!
Thank You Tim
Man, that was very, very cool!
Thank you !
I'm amazed it cut those casings!
Wowza! Love that handle. It truly looks amazing! Great job! Bravo!
Wooooow !!!!
Se ve increíble y el toque de resina roja le dio mucha vista !!
Thank You
looks great brother thats one hell of a long screw driver . good job buddy .
Thank You ! It was my Dad's for what ever reason the handle desintegrated in his tool box. Snap on tools are expensive, but try to get it replaced if you didn't buy it from that guy. Not Happening.
@@PohlBarnProductions well it is a lot better then it was for sure and a one of a kind piece . i think you did your dad proud with it and it will last forever now. well as long as you dont drive over it with a big truck lol . again great job my friend .
Buenísimo compañero,me gusta mucho tu canal,saludos 😜

That was suggested to me by the guys at the gun club, I'm sure it will look Awesome !
You deserve 1 million subscribers
Thank You Steffany !
Agreed 🔥
Beautifully made. I like the effect of the red filling in the casings.
Thank you
Awesome! Can't wait to see more!!
Thank you
Looks fantastic. It might be better as a cane handle 👍. I know I’d buy it😎
Thank You, well that was a snap on screwdriver and dad wasn't happy about the handle rotting off, it worked out great for it, as it could for many other things, shifter knobs, cane handles ect.
@@PohlBarnProductions ...something to put in her butt, etc.
you should make a doorknob out of this!
that is really cool, you work with so many different items ...ty Anna
Thank You Anna
Wow, That is awesome. I am so amazed at how nice it turned out.
Thank You....it did turn out nicer that I expected.
that screw driver just increased in value by 2000%
Thank You

This is really relaxing to watch.

357, 45ACP, 40S&W, 22Mag, 223, (but why would you have 9mm when there's a 40 or 357 handy)-you're speaking my language now! (Born and raised WY, those numbers mean more than telephone numbers) Might have tumbled them a bit to get them pretty, but the handle turned out awesome! And for the naysayers, carbide is far harder than brass...just sayin'. Fantastic idea!
well the 40 belongs to my son in law, and the rest are pricey to just throw down range, 9mm's are cheap ! I thought about tumbling them after the fact, did I miss what the naysayers were sayin ? I knew I could cut the brass with the carbide I just didn't expect the brass to be that hard, I should have run the lathe faster than I did. Glad you liked it, it really was an experiment that turn out Great I think.
Like, when you say something such as "carbide is far harder than brass" my brain completely agrees. Yet my thought watching the video was "Man, he better watch out for that metal". lol, weird how sometimes it just doesn't click.
@Azhaar Laghari Because I own a 45 & 40, both of which have more kinetic knock down power than a 9mm. Have had 9's-have no use for them. Personal preference-if you like the 9mm platform, good for you. I prefer the 45 & 40-is what it is.
@thomas lee good old 40 short & weak. Most LEO's and Feds have gone back to the 9mm as better generation of bullets than when the short and weak came out. Now 10MM is where it is at for the non-pussy feds.
I've put my 40 up against a 9, and it's by no means weak. If I feel it's not enough, I'll carry my 45. As said, you're entitled to your opinion-doesn't mean I have to agree with it, nor you mine.
Would make an awesome shifter for a rat rod ppl would pay good money for that I sure would. Great job
Thank you ! Yes it would, and it seems many think the same thing.
That is bad ass, old school ingenuity, great job old man...
Thank you JP.. LOL I'm NOT OLD ! LOL
Very ingenious, looks great 👍🏻
Thank you
Dude... That is simply kick-ass
Thank you !
Large diameter handles let you get lots of torque...... long screwdriver shafts eat up torque.
Thank You, I'm sure my Dad is never going to use that for anything other than to show it off, and the handle is the right size for his arthritis .
always used the long screwdrivers to spin the shank fast with my finger tips. if the length of the driver is causing serious torque problems you're probably doing something wrong. phillips is trash anyway.
+firebirdude2
actually long screwdriver shafts don't eat up torque. The reason for this is torque is in units of force times distance, but the distance of course is not distance along the axis of rotation (the screwdriver shaft) but instead distance away from the axis. This is one reason screwdrivers have handles; the bigger the handle, the more torque to the shaft is provided by a given force. Not the length of the shaft.
That's cool stuff. Beautiful.
Thank You Brock
That worked out great, the colour contrast is excellent!
Thank you ! I liked the color contrast of the Flo Red, but others didn't. to each their own, I'm glad you liked it
Фигасе резец и метал режет и эпоксидку! Вещь оригинальная!
Thank you
дак латунь она мягкая , вот если бы стальные были гильзы то да , а так это не сложно
аккуратно вполне можно
Металлокерамика...

3:50 looks like that scene from Jaws where he's burning the wax and loading his gun
lol
That is one nice handle. Love the almost blood red fill in the casings. Great job.
Thank You !
Excellent work, totally unique
Thank You Mike
Neat idea, I bet a 12 or 10 gauge shell suspended in the tube center would look cool too!
Thank You ! It would and would be easy enough to do, I've put 410 shells into ink pens after casting them in resin.
still i think a shifter would be cool ... maybe next project ...
lol thank you,, yes I am going to do a shifter for my Model A, I'm working on that now.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Thank You
Hey I just happened to be sick and couldn't sleep and I saw your video and is amazing. Love tools and u should make the for sale.
Thanks for getting my spirit back up!!!
Thank You... and you are Welcome, hope you are feeling better soon !
Damn, that's a really cool screwdriver.
Thank You
or may be a handel grip fora pistol
Great idea, beautiful results.
You have a good head on your shoulders!!
Thanks.
Thank you !
That was awesome!!
Thank you Becky
How much did you shell out on resin
i like the idea of the red epoxy in the brass, but now im curious as to what it would look like if it was all clear.
Thank You ! It probably would of been dirty as I didn't think to clean the casing before I poured the resin.
Absolutely Awesome!
Thank you Paul...Happy New Year !
At least I am watching this during the day, at work, instead of 1am at home....
Thank you
okay... NOW i want to make resin .22lr grips for my berreta 21....
I thought about knife handles, but I'm not so sure the casings will stay in the resin while cutting them that thin,
@@PohlBarnProductions i would love to see that tried even still. I feel if maybe you used .22lr casings and layed them flat along your path of cut they may stay within the resin for the most part.
be a great shifter knob
Wow, nicely done. 👍 I know what you mean being surprised by how hard it was to cut the through the casings. I told our ten year old to put what he wants in his ferro rod handle epoxy casting and rather than add pine cones and fatwood he added a few pennies. I didn't think the pennies would be too hard to cut through lol. You had me curious on this one. I was going to try it.
Wow! That looks sharp! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you !
👍Like !!!
Leandro Nunes você é do Rio?
I can use that to.....😈
Wow .. very good job!! Beautiful work
Thank You
Нихуя не понял , но очень интересно.
Thank you

хули там понимать)))взял тюбики от губной помады,залил эпоксидкой,и получилась рукоятка для отвёртки)

Me too bro. I didn't understand this project at all.
I watched you make this for over 15 minutes and you didn't even screw in anything with it
Thank You ! LOL I never thought about it, I made it as a gift and hadn't actually planned on using it.
That one was awesome! I sent to my bro which would want me to make him one. I not ever used resin yet. Very nice! Thanks!
Thank you
Great idea Doug it came out awesome Great job
Thank you Rich,
uses as chisel, loses non-dominant hand.
