These look incredible. You honestly can’t go wrong with any of Nanmu’s T-Rexes, although if you want the best representation of the Rexes, here’s how I would recommend collecting these figures.
Version 1 - Doe Rex
Version 2 - Buck Rex
Version 3 - Rexy & Red Rex
And then add the I-Toy Rex for a JPIII variation, and you’ve got the perfect representation of the JP Adult Rexes in figure form.

If the shine of the whole body would be a little duller, it would be a 11/10 perfection. And the dark stripes a little darker would be appreciated. But definitely this company knows how to do this franchise's dinosaurs...
Andy I am going on record to say no one beats Nanmu when it comes to their Dinosaurs. Their releases have been stunning and these latest Rex's are proof of that. Now am I going to get any of these? Probably not due to I have my Obsidian Rex and I am more then happy with that. But once again Nanmu has knocked it out of the park which to me is no surprise. Great review my friend.

I do think these look amazing though, feels like the best looking version of Rexy out there. Torn between the movie & Novel Rexy. Might get the the novel one and then pick up the dragon soul Rex.
After over a month of thinking which one to buy, I ended up buying Rexy. Most because both pose and base is from the first JP movie. You can't go wrong with any of these.
Not too fussed about these ones as I already have the previous Rex's but I hope I'm able to pick up the dragon soul version, my only complaint with nanmu is how little dragon soul models are produced and how much more expensive they are

The only thing I find disappointing with Nanmu recently, is the dropping of the moveable jaw, and also the material seems different. Feels slightly less robust than usual.
Ive noticed that the material is almost ''Vinyl'' like. It has like a ''shine'' that almost appears greasy. From the neck up, I've noticed a lot of their models are very detailed. But when it gets to the body, it looses a lot of that detail. Almost like the neck up is entirely separate from the body. I heard rumors they got rid of the articulated jaw due to issues. Ive never had any issues my tbh. But yea I too have noticed a difference as well. I also don't like the addition of the bases. I get there going for a ''Statue'' style but I was never one to buy models that cam with bases anyways. Bases are only going to increase the cost of these models as well.
@@missdaniels3118 yeah agreed. Before I liked Nanmu because they felt like museum style JP models, but now it feels like they are just statues. I guess that’s fine, but i liked the jaw and the mini figure.
I think it’s better it’s one less thing to break
I have already the previous t rex versions in my collection but now I'm forced to buy the Kenner inspired version.

I was blown away with the unboxing experience of the first female T-Rex (green). Paint was amazing and the sculpt was deep. I rode on this high and purchased the Second Nanmu offering with the green buck and was disappointed. Paint and sculpt were softer compared to the female. It took me out of the Nanmu collecting game. Great review as always. Thank you for putting in so much effort 👍🏾
