The Bloodhound Gang!
The Ballad of Chasey Lain.
Just for the laugh!
The Temptation notable members - Otis Williams, Melvin Franklin, Eddie Kendricks, David Ruffin, Paul Williams, and Dennis Edwards. They were many others that were part of the group but those are the most well known members from the 60s and 70s.
Props to the Detroit Symphony orchestra for providing the ambience on many Motown songs
All the fellows in high school wanted to sing and dance like the Temps.
And you know there were one or twobgroups that wern't to bad ...killed it at the talent show..!
"My Girl", "The Way You Do the Things You Do", "Pappa Was a Rolling Stone", "Ball of Confusion", and "Psychedelic Shack" are worth a listen.

My man took that hit at 2:15, and said “Aw ya lets get into this shit.”
This was the music I grew up listening to. I'm Caucasian, but I only listened to Soul Music growing up. Drove my parents crazy! But it resonated with me....still does. I married a Caucasian man who appreciated this music as much as I did. 46 years later...still together, listening to this music! So do our daughters!
In the late 60s we lived in a mostly black neighborhood. Our neighbor was a little old black church lady with her grandson “Billy Holiday” (like the old black singer) he was 17 but looked like a man, was a bulk of muscles (everyone called him monster) he was like a bad ass young Mike Tyson everyone was afraid of him, but he was always cool to me a long haired hippie kid. He use to always hang out in his converted garage (red shag carpet couch coffee table old 60s tv/record player console, refrig. Red lights. He’d always wear wife beater t-shirts, overalls and white fuzzy slippers with his hair in braids like Buckwheat.
This was his favorite song He would play this song loud and just hang in his garage with the door open. Billy I hope life was good for you. Your hippie neighbor from the late 60s
"May,I have this dance"(Class of 71)
