- Yogyakarta, Indonesia 🇮🇩 - This is my first time travelling luxury style, and I have to say, it was a great experience after all those low-budget rides (which my wallet and I still enjoy). I was amazed by the comfort and service, kudos to the staff as well, they've been so great. Is this better than a first class seat on an aeroplane? Would you take that train?

It's not rice something.. But it's a fried tofu or it's often called tahu goreng

The one you had at home before was "Lemper". You can find lemper as a snack that served in nearly every traditional event or ceremony. Made of glutinous rice, cook with coconut milk, and with chicken or beef filling. The one you had at the lounge was "Arem arem", made of normal rice, mostly fill in with stirfry tempe, tofu, and chilli. Arem arem is more like a small meal replacement, or you can have it as snack as well.

And the other snack, it looks like "Tahu bakso", which made of tofu as base, and bakso ingredient in the middle. And yes you have it with raw green chilli. Yummy.
Btw, the train ride was amazing. I didn't explore as much as you did😂. Just wanted to sleep. Night trip was definitely different with your day one.

More expensive than Sleeper Double Decker Intercity Bus in Indonesia. But looks very luxurious.. You should try luxury public intercity bus too bro if you like traveling like this, pick most luxury one. Find infos of it in many video on YT, honestly that's very confortable too 👍

Wow! Such a modern train,I wish philippines will have this kind of train modernization,I think that’s impossible ,there are no long distance train in my country, but ,I wish also we have this kind of train here in Canada,since it’s in my bucket list to travel fr Montréal to Vancouver.

Unfortunately, each train station lounge has different qualities. Some are good, and others are terrible. I guess it depends on the station management😅
Was my very first time at a lounge, could have been better. But yeah, as you say, some better some worse
I never been to other train station lounge, only Jogja. Price wise, is OK. And I think by far, we can not compare train station lounge vs airport lounge. From price perspective, already uncomparable. If you don't have luxury train ticket, a single pass at train station lounge, cost Rp 65.000 , around $4.5. At airport lounge, if you don't have lounge membership, or don't have free acces card when you have significant amount of money in certain banks, airport lounge costs at least 10 times more than that, which will give you free al**holic beverages as well 😊, and a lot more options of food.

In the KAI terms, Luxury, Compartment, and Executive Class are different classes. All are 1st classes, but "Executive" is the regular one. The other two are more limited and have higher service standard.
