You went to Kauai! That must’ve been fun! You know Chloe, the Nickelodeon show “Paradise Run” and the Season 4 finale of OutDaughtered were also filmed in Hawaii. The only difference is that both were filmed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village located on the Big Island of Hawaii

Not trying to make you feel bad or anything, I have been to Hawaii as well, but I'd love to take an opportunity to tell you about how native Hawaiians don't like tourists on their islands.
Hawaii was forcibly colonized by the US, and we forced a change in their way of life and tried to make them reliant on us for tourism to make money, while we are actively destroying native flora and fauna and endangering their limited resources.
I hope you patronize local businesses and learn about local culture during your stay!

honestly I thought you of all influencers would've been understanding of Hawaiian natives and their pleas of not wanting tourists on their land and ruining their home. did you do no research before travelling there? genuinely curious.
Hawai'i has a Sustainable Tourism Association that certifies organizations that promote ethical, sustainable tourism that holistically integrates people, the planet, and profit. From my research all the activities they did were apart of that association and run by local families. I understand your concern though, it is a huge problem but there are ways to do it ethically. Remember that without tourism, Hawaii would suffer too. Tourism is their number one industry and supplies over 200,000 jobs. Hope this helps! :)

@@Jules-kb8oi i agree supporting locals is one way to travel there but natives suffer when tourists are there many have been posting about this. they don't get clean water or enough water bc all of it goes to the hotels for tourists
why go to Hawaii when the natives have been screaming for people to stop traveling there? It’s incredibly destructive to their environment.
The beef I heard is when people move there to live, not visiting. Their economy needs tourism

Sorry to break the news to you but people can travel wherever they please, there’s no embargo on travel to Hawaii and have not been for some time. Tourism is the foundation of their economy so people traveling there is necessary to continue a thriving economy and provides work for hundreds of thousands.
God, don't go to Hawaii yourself, snowflake... you'll melt in the sun.
First off, hawaii requires tourism to even survive economically. And no, I have friends who live there and they say with less tourists over the last few years they have struggled.
Second, let this pandemic crap go. No one follows that anymore.
I suggest that Chloe can experience volunteering in your free time, helping deliver meals to poor elderly people living alone, participating in disaster relief, or cleaning up the environment. Not only helping others, you will also see more of different people's lives. It is not to satisfy self-development, but to open your eyes, be more empathetic and cherish what you have.💪🏽🦸🏼♀️
