I love the opening of "going into the forest to look ethereal" and then the REAL beauty of you breaks out.
That shot was not especially clear to me because i've never heard EtheREAL said etherAL. When I was travelling in India and everyone was talking about Etherial it sounded like AFAIRYALL. I though she said Etheral was a kind of plant or a distillation. Then the dress swap happened but both the dresses where white and similar. It's a great special effect attempt though! fantastic I just was confused by the word and the same color of the ethereal chemisette.

Part-time Van human here, I highly recommend getting an OBDii scanner that is recommended for your make and model of vehicle. If you don't know, an OBDii scanner is a diagnostic tool that would scan through Gloria's little computers, sensors, and let you know more specifically what the "engine malfunction" light was to let you know if it is critical or not. There are of course very modernized ones that are bluetooth dongles with apps so you can use your phone to see what exactly is going on. Things like "low mass airflow pressure" may seem foreign and intimidating to you right now, but with the wonders of youtube and forums for your specific vehicle, you can figure out how to fix anything step by step, and often times (but not always) it is a very easy fix of half an hour or less. Since mechanical repairs can be the most costly part of van life, and I bought a van with 200k miles on it, I figured I would need to learn this stuff and it has saved me multiple, multiple times already and makes breaking down so much less stressful. I even broke down literally in the fucking middle of a desert and was back up and running in about 1.5 hours until i could get to a gas station and get everything properly road ready again.

@@wilE6764 Of course she does, nothing wrong with that. Looking beyond that, she really is good at producing these videos. I’m constantly traveling myself, and couldn’t imagine putting these videos together weekly, especially with how much footage she takes. It’s nice to see she still really enjoys it and isn’t burned out yet. Plus she’s got great taste in music. Her looks might get her clicks, but her content is going to make her rich.

I'm so glad you told us what was wrong with Gloria, being a mechanic I was feeling your pain when the engine light came on. The airflow valve can't just crack someone would have to man handle it pretty good so you're right, that garage broke it!
I posted this in one of your other videos but wanted to make sure that you saw it.
If we toss out your fabulous, endearing mannerisms, the ability to find your own self amusing, your charisma in front of the camera, and your actual movie making (use of B roll and still shots) are remarkable. IF, you're doing your own editing it's astoundingly, 'top shelf'. (If not you, your editor is a keeper). These videos are SO, NOT typical for van life documenting. They are soundly as professionally done, as if you've been trained for years. You don't need much of a script, but only need to be yourself, accompanied by your vulnerability and the ability to laugh at life, yourself and the situations that you find yourself in.
Stellar. DO NOT STOP. You're an "old soul" with a special gift and I look forward to all your adventures as only YOU can create.

honestly, I think you should conciser a trunk on your back door before you lose your shower for storage. I'm not in my van yet but I can imagine getting clean in winter will be a problem. Dave xx

It is admirable how you live in such a small space with so much stuff. Personally, I think you have too much stuff and your life could be easier if you downsized your wardrobe. This is easy for me to say, as I am an unkempt hermit, dressed always in black, who's only footwear is a sturdy pair of old walking boots.

Hi Ame. You can buy an engine scanner and use it anytime (it connects to a port usually underneath the steering wheel) to see what error codes/messages show which will help diagnose the problem.
i don't know if its the lighting in the video or if the portable charger is really that color, but it looks like TIFFANY BLUE. Its the perfect charging station for you.

When I was a kid I spent the summers at my grandparents and my aunt had just moved away for college. So I listened to her records and they were all oldies even for her at the time. Every night was Leslie Gore before bedtime. I loved her! Very fond memories, so cool to hear, you are way ahead of the pack Ame.

One piece of kit you don't want to go without is an OBD-II sensor or the equivalent. Plug it in, scan and find out what is wrong and go from there. I think one of these and a jump pack for the battery are absolutely essential. Also, you looked ravishing in your outfit, Ame. :)
You should get one of those OBD readers with phone app so you can diagnose your vehicle. Great channel BTW your quirkiness, vibe and sense of humour makes me smile. 🤗
