@@paradisemusic2012 Thank you. I couldn't let her go in silence so I chose the thing she loved the most 'bird songs' When I began to play it my family members thought it was perfect and so did my grandma. I'll be forever thankful for the peace it brought us.
I grew up in Tucson. Friends & I used to go out finding old prospects, mines and diggings and such in the desert, the birds were most every where. my cat went into hunting mode when she heard this recording, thankyou. Sounds like the Arizona Sonora Desert Musium.
I wanted to encourage my cats to play a little more to burn some extra energy and someone suggested bird sounds. After not seeming to care I had the idea to put this on since we live in southwest AZ and they play like they're out in the wild. Highly recommend anyone with a cat or 20 to try playing local bird sounds!
I enjoyed listening to the sounds of the cactus Wren and gamble quail in the distance of the main bird which overpowers this video Sounded like the loud sound of a mockingbird
Very Nice! These are the bird voices I know. I've added this audio-delight to my large Arizona playlist, an organized video tour of much of the state, featuring Nature, the terrain, vegetation and wildlife, and am placing this in the Sonoran desert region of the playlist, in the Tucson > Sabino Canyon section, a place that's full of these voices. Thanks so much for sharing it. It's lovely!
@@mecrac The desert around Tucson is beautiful, you're right. It's a great place to appreciate. Feel free to enjoy my large Arizona playlist; it's like touring the state and seeing much, without having to pack or spend money on gas. :) What a wonderful, beautiful place to live! :)
I use the bird sounds in my backyard with the other Arizona backyard birds and it is wonderful and helps attract the birds. Thank you for this wonderful peaceful experience and enjoyment.
How did you record this? I'm really interested on whether or not you sampled each bird or just found the hottest spot in the desert for bird activity. I'm curious because I and a friend would love to sample this for a song or album, because we're from Arizona, and have great interest and respect for the avian uniqueness of our state. Thanks!
EGADS! Our sound producers, at the time, recorded this nearly 4 years ago and I am sorry to say I don't really know the intimate details of how they did it. Typically, they would "roam" and collect different nature sounds then compile them. Sorry I can't be of more help. Betty, Paradise Music.
Grogg Strogg: Chiricahua Mountains are one of the most bird-population AND species-diversity intensive areas of the United States. If you have the freedom to go there, take a cheap portable field recorder and a nice expensive microphone. Come back and share with us. I am MISSING the desert bad

Played this while my grandmother passed away she enjoyed it thank you so much.
We are so sorry to hear of your grandmother's passing. Hoping this brought her a bit of peace.

I grew up in Tucson and loved going to Sabino canyon as a kid when the rain came in so we could play in the rivers. The desert is so truly beautiful
