Charge port door/flap is not locked when car is locked. That is a big negative and concern in MG Comet.

MG Comet-ev can be second car only.SEATS UNCUSHIONED/BUMPS even for a small speed breakers/Actual Range 180Km only/Rear ground clearance 130cms at Rear side/Government subsidy for ev vehicles not passed on to customer.This is FANCY CAR, NOT A PRACTICAL CAR.

12 lacks almost for this tiny car .its just deluxe autoriksha. Can not drive on highway toh will have to buy another car .. bullshit its better buy good mid suv under 10 lacks ...reva n mahindra failed in small suv segment . Tiago ev is right choice if want to buy only ev only ..

I already buyed comet a week ago and i have top model took me 8.90 lakh with subsidy as the owner was very close to me.
Tiago Ev Can't Even touch the Mg comet in Terms intial Pickup even in Eco mode. Yesterday i had a 3-4 km race with tiago ev in a traffic of 1.5km and without traffic 2.5km but Tiago ev Lost it as i escaped due to compact car but when tiago ev came out of traffic i already went so far. This is the difference of small car. Only 1 advantage i got is it tooks 0-80% 3-4 hours but 80-100% 2 hours or more .. it's Road Presence was Very much better..😊 Thank You

Tiago has a significantly lower battery efficiency than Comet EV, with a range of 7.77 km/kWh compared to Comet's 11.17 km/kWh. In addition, Tata is known for its poor after-sales service. Also their interior looks very odd and old design.
Good car but very expensive.
I can consider buying in below conditions:
MG should launch an extreme base variant of the car:
Reduce battery to 150 kms real world range keeping torque and power almost same or may be 30% reduction at max. Should be at-least double of petrol nano though.
Halogen lights instead of LEDs
No DRLs
No telescopic adjustment
Basic AC, no climate control
No reverse camera
No chrome body finish
Single Wiper
No graphics animation to display battery, speed, range etc. Only basic LED will also do
No FM, No unnecessary electronics.
No regen required.
Not needed button push window control. Can use old rotate method to open windows.
Not needed auto ORVM and adjust also can be done manually
SIMILARLY ALSO NOT NEEDED OTHER NON NECESSARY FEATURES LIKE - ALLOY WHEELS, SPARE WHEEL ETC.
Need manually foldable ORVMs as well as manually adjustable, joystick not needed..
Also should introduce Ultra Slow charging mode of 700 Watt or 1 KIlowatt along with existing 3 Kw so that we do not get stranded and we can also charge with solar or in remote areas where it is difficult to obtain 3 KW power due to earthing issues.
If they do this, then only it can become as common man's car. Otherwise who is going to buy this toy for 8.5 lacs on road base variant.
Dont worry maruthi will launch soon the cheapest cheap EV on based on your feedback.

Keep it in mind that mileage of brezza and nexon both are same now as battery from brezza is removed.
So for safety as well as mileage Nexon is better from brezza
