If you’re serious about shooting, this is a good investment. You’ll NEVER, need any other firearm, EVER. Besides the shotgun will hold its value. I wouldn’t bat an eye. I deliberated myself when I set out to buy a shotgun. The DT11 is my second purchase. Should have been my first. 😉
Hi Hoang, DT11 stocks do not fit 687s. However, this shouldn’t be a problem at all. All you need to do is select your wood and get a custom stock made for your 687. Get in touch with your local stock maker or with beretta. Happy shooting!
Guessing from your username, you’re probably not a good squirrel. 😄 I’m 170cm tall. I’d say I like the 28 inch(71cm) version. I use 20mm extended chokes, so a total of 73cm barrels. I like the balance on that barrel length. It’s nimble and the gun is light.
I’m unsure where you got that information from. I own a DT11 Sporting with 71cm barrels. You can use the gun with flush chokes and have the barrels 71cm long. With extended chokes you come to 73cm.
@@coffeeguns807 ok it might be that the dt11 black pro model only comes in 30 inches because that’s the one I saw on the Barretta site but I didn’t check the other dt11 models , I will check again , Thankyou
@@coffeeguns807 you are right I looked it up and the sporting dt11 does come in 28 inches but the dt11 black pro doesn’t , I just got lazy and assumed all dt11s had the same minimum barrel length, cool Thankyou , I am 5 feet 11 inches and try to shoot a 30 inch but seem to have a mental block , I am going to try a 28 inch barrel for a while and see if I settle in
Please do something about the missing blue paint. It would be the first thing I see every time I open the case, the last thing I see every time I put it away. I know it's a "tool", but that missing section would annoy me every time I assembled my beautiful DT11 !
The recoil is very subjective, I’d say. The gun has some weight to it. Mine weighs 3.9kg. That helps with reduction of the felt recoil. I’ve experienced posture plays a role too. When im feeling strong I tend to tighten my chest ans shoulder. The gun feels very solid in the hands. On days when im not really on top of my game, I feel the gun kicks harder.
