Stop Receiving WhatsApp Messages Without Disconnecting Data!

- It's a simple trick to fool your phone into thinking that WhatsApp is deep sleeping and shuts off any internet access specifically to WhatsApp. And all you have to do to wake up WhatsApp is open it once and you will start receiving your messages again.

You'll still receive mssgs. Putting it in deep sleep will only disable mssg notified on your phone. But the other user can see double tick for mssg being delivered.
Then there's no point of this
Deep sleep means no background process for the app, so messages will not be received.
@@znk_1999 i gave it a try buddy. I didn't receive the notification but on the sender saw two ticks for the message. It's only the notification that pops up once you open the app. Messages are still being delivered
Or you can disable internet access for whatsapp or any other app then no message can be received or sent
Force stop the app. Very simple

You don't have Computer or laptop to watch ?
If you are a MI user, you can shut internet access for particular apps. Its in Security -> Data usage -> Restrict Data Usage

@@unknownman1 it works, you have separate options for wifi and mobile data you can choose to restrict internet access from wifi, mobile data or both. Also there is a separate place for system apps through which you can list them.

Simple step :- long press wp - app info - restricted data uses .. Done then wp can't use data you can open wp when data is on but can't send message or received any message no tick show totally offline thank you❤

If you are not a wifi user then go to the < data usage < allowed network for apps < WhatsApp to WiFi only.
You will never receive any message or call on mobile data.

For Vivo? It's not working any way to do it in vivo
Unless i turn on do not disturb (silence all sounds), wa calls still ring my lg tablet phone. Its weird because i don't get messages because i turned off notifications but calls still happen . highly irritating. I dont have an option to deep sleep the app unless that occurs naturally from nonuse over months. (old LG)

instead you can use pause app feature which will do the exact same thing. also that will be with just tap and hold on app icon it self to get th pause option.

Just long press Whatsapp icon, go to app info(i button on top right), then battery, and set it to restricted.

Lol...I have better idea. I normally press and hold the app, and then tap on the i sign and Force Stop the app when I don't want the notifications and all. Other way is you can mute.
