I've been an Eluvium fan for as long as I can remeber, but this track caught me off guard. I've watched this video probably 100 times in the last month and it still haunts me. It is literally perfect.
I see this and I remember my ex wife/my now best friend. She's alive and well. She's kicking. But not long ago she was suicidal. I had to be there for her and tolerate the risk that she might not be with me tomorrow. I learned to truly appreciate her presence, moment to moment. I love her immensely. She's not dead yet, but just knowing that one way she will be GONE...is enough me to throw me into and endless stream of tears. And your music, and this music video, is a great channel for that. So thank you. And I hope somebody out there read this and understood my pain 🙂
I do not stop to see this video again and again. beautifully terrifying! the gloomy atmosphere, and the heartbreaking ending along with those little distorted sounds make you feel in a "continue ..." ineffable. excellent piece
Goosebumps all over this song and the video, so conflictual between human-sized beauty and misery. (I'm picturing imaginary developments of the story through David Lynch shorts, some Bukowski sleaziness and further Eluvium's sound ambience)
this is really turning into my favorite video. still trying to figure out what the message is but its just so beautiful and frightening at the same time
@@Raphaelle1. im starting to think that hes an honest person before he puts the mask on. and then hes living in this superficial world and doesnt like what he sees
Beautiful piece, beautiful video. Very haunting. I'm curious about the placement of what looks like the Sowulo, Sigel Rune. Or half of the lightning bolt.

When much of the modern musical dross is long forgotten, compositions like this may well be remembered. Ahead of its time. Bravo Eluvium.

I actually imagined something along the lines of a single cell organism growing but that works too
That music makes me sentimental, makes me melancholic !
I've seen this world, I've lived there. I can control it now. I've survived it
i got you babe.
What is this world?
Have you ever listened to a song that's so good it makes you angry that it's over?
Well, this is definitely one of them.
Temporary Residence. Yeah...makes sense. We all are.
Can't stop listening and watching. Very nice work.
I wouldn't have imagined that video for a song like this, but that made it a really cool experience.
