My Experience of getting visa . One mistake i did during my visa.

Here is a list of required documents for Spain for you reference -
1. The official visa application form, duly completed in all sections, dated and signed.
This form can be downloaded from BLS, the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation websites.
1A. One recent passport size colour photograph, printed in photo paper with white background, full front, on which the applicant must be bareheaded, without dark glasses or any other item which may prevent or hinder identification.
2. Ordinary passport with the following requirements:
Valid for a minimum of 90 days from the date of expiration of the visa.
No older than 10 years.
With at least 2 consecutive blank pages.
If the passport is new, previous passports must be submitted.
Photocopy of biometric data page, UK visas, residence permit and other Schengen visas, if any.
3. UK residence permit valid for a minimum of 30 days from the date of expiration of the visa. Photocopy of both sides of the residence card.
Holders of a UK C-visit Visa are not eligible for Schengen tourism visa.
4. Children under 18 years old must have their form signed by both parents or legal guardians.
Photocopy of birth certificate or adoption certificate, showing original.
Photocopies of passports of both parents or legal guardians and Schengen visas, if applicable,
have to be attached, showing originals.
4.1 In the case of minors travelling without their parents or legal guardians, or travelling
with one single parent, in addition to the documents mentioned above, applicants must submit: Notarised authorisation of the parents or of the parent who does not travel with the minor.
5. No objection letter.
For employees: no objection letter from employer dated and signed, stating qualification,
salary and start date of employment in the UK.
For private employees (nannies, housekeepers, drivers, au-pair, etc.): no objection letter from employer dated and signed, stating qualification, salary and start date of employment in the UK, copies of the employer’s passport and the employment contract.
For self-employed workers: copy of trade license, accountant letter and last year proof of paying taxes.
5A.For students/pupils: no objection letter from school or university, stating the start and the end date of studies and the course title.
6. Proof of sufficient financial guarantees: up to date original UK bank statements for the last 3 months, certified by bank, which clearly state periodic income (salary transfer, yield, etc.).
Proof of sufficient financial availability for the period of stay requested: £96 per day of stay and person, with a minimum of £860 per person regardless of the intended duration of the stay.
In case of sponsored trip: notarised sponsorship letter duly dated and signed, officially translated into Spanish, supported by the following sponsor documents: passport (original and copy), employment letter officially translated, last 6-month original bank statements
7. Round-trip ticket booking (airfare, bus or cruise) stating the name of the applicant.
If travelling by car: driving license, ownership documents for the vehicle, insurance and ferry or
Eurotunnel tickets.
8. Proof of accommodation for the time of stay, hotel booking or property lease, stating the name of the applicant.
If travel is by private invitation, official invitation letter (original and photocopy).
Additionally, it must be provided:
Last year’s receipt of the Spanish IBI Tax (Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles).
Passport photocopy of the property owner.
9. Overseas insurance policy,

It is really difficult!
Yes its difficult to get the appoint now because its holiday seasons coming !! Keep trying early mornings might help !! ❤
You should start atleast 2 months prior finding appointments online on their website !!

Hello, thanks for you video.
I have a friend in Morocc applying on the BLS website for student visa.
When they have tried to book an appointment 10am every Sunday no appointment slots show as available.
They have heard that 3rd party companies book these appointment & then are charging 10 x the visa to give you an appointment.
When I have researched this company they have a reputation for this type of thing happening & also trying to charge applicants for things which are included in the visa fee.
Is this something you are aware of and do you know where is the best place to complain about this?

I booked my flight , but you can even book dummy tickets.there are many websites which provide such dummy air tickets
Question no 1
While filling up the form i made a mistake. They ask you RESIDENCE IN A COUNTRY OTHER THAN THE CURRENT NATIONALITY. Option is YES or NO. I put no and i think i should have put yes as i have uk student residence permit. Will i able to amend it on appointment day. If i tell them I didn’t understand this option.

I took the premium service of vls as i wasn’t able to get normal service. How much extra it will cost?

I took the student status letter from university. Will it work?
1. Hello … as far as i know for spain … I can ask the representative to change the details when you visit the center on appointment day
2. They charge you 90£ extra for premium appointments
3. Yes University student letter is fine

Brother, do i have to book hotel and air ticket before booking appointment? I mean how can i book these even before knowing my visa is granted. Will i be able to refund?

Hi , you can book the free cancellation hotels from booking.com and cancel it after getting visa. You don’t have to pay The booking fees if you select that option and cancel it before the date they mentioned on website .

Online print is ok .. no actual stamp needed

No cover letter not needed for spain . In visa form you mention your purpose of visit so no need of SOP

You can take the bank statement of one / two days before
Bro i submitted my application on 19th march but i gave my bank statement till 13th march. While checking documents in bls they didn’t say anything. They said last 3 months bank statement. Does it include March as well or December January February.

You have to show atleast first 3 nights hotel reservations…not whole trip !

Option 1 : Just get her letter with saying her this signed with address of accommodation proof and her Identity card or BRP
Second option is you can book a free cancellation hotel from booking.com and show that .

Hi bro, any idea on how long they are taking nowadays for the visa processing... I thought it will take maximum 15 days for the processing. I booked for May 8th. I had my appointment on 22nd April. Still no response. I think I wont be getting any update before8th. So can I cancel by accommodation booking since its refundable. Is it going to affect my application as I have given those details for my visa. But that was for 8th till 12? Please answer bro.
