Now that's one cool knife. Absolutely loved that olive wood. I would love to have some in my shop for some projects. loved the slow motion ferro rod action. Thanks for sharing. Atb. Robert
Oh my GOSH that is a BEAUTY!! I've never seen one like that. LOVELY!! OH! Love the way you say, "Coyote." (In Wyoming, we really mangle it, "Kai-yut"). Nice!! Jules
Que belleza! Me gusta mucho el color de la madera. Nice looking blade, I've not heard of this knife maker before, thanks for showing it. The grooves in the handle looked very interesting too.
+Nathan4071 I will have some available in about a week, I'm setting up at an outdoor expo next Friday and Saturday, whatever doesn't sell there will be available. Anything in particular you are looking for?
+Nathan4071 I will do a video of what I have available next weekend, if you don't see anything you like, you can email me : dmize2009@hotmail.com or check out my website: www.mizecustomworks.com
I just got one a few days ago. the handle is awesome and the knife is something to look at. Mine will also need some edge work and the grind is a bit uneven which gives the tip a bent look. These discrepancies are easily fixed as they are not extreme. I have not tested the AN.58 very much but so far it seems to be okay. I like it very much. Thanks for the video!
The handle on that one is quite beautiful .. very nice! Perhaps lowering the edge angle a bit will get it to bit better in the wood .. It looked like a knife i have where the shoulders of the edge kept getting in the way of a consistant good bite. Great looking knife .. Take care!!
Nice lookin knife. Hollow grind? I always wondered about knife scales that are grooved in that fashion. Personally, I think they look good but may cause some discomfort to your hand after extended use. Your thoughts? Good vid Nathan, thanks for sharing! Greetings from Germany
+Modernbushcraft I wish I new how to do that. I used a lansky sharpening system and did a 20 degree on each side angle but it took me an hour. It bites into the wood better. Thank you for your input.
+Nathan4071 aha sharpen it on the lowest until you have a edge think it is 17 on the lansky? then put it on 20 and only do a couple of strokes on each side with the finest stone. but i think it would hold up fine with just a 17 degree edge too 😊

Have a look at the Nieto Terrano scandi. It can also carve since it has a scandi edge.
Okay. I will check it out.
That has to be one of the best looking knives I have ever seen. Absolutely beautiful
+John “survivor johnny” Tewelow It's nice but I had to regrind the bevel to 20 degrees. Now it bites into the wood better.

+TimBlankJ What angle would you recommend?
Thank you Tim for your input.
Nathan4071 Well I don't know how that one is ground but I like 15 degrees per side .. sometimes less if the steel can handle it.
I think it's at 25. I will do 20 first and then 15
Thank you Tim.

Nice lookin knife. Hollow grind? I always wondered about knife scales that are grooved in that fashion. Personally, I think they look good but may cause some discomfort to your hand after extended use. Your thoughts? Good vid Nathan, thanks for sharing! Greetings from Germany
I have used it and so far no discomfort but I only used the knife for feather sticking and batoning.
Now that is a knife!
+smetlogik Thank you.
would thin it a fair bit behind the edge at say 10 per side then put a 15 degree micro bevel on it if you want much better performance.
+Modernbushcraft I wish I new how to do that. I used a lansky sharpening system and did a 20 degree on each side angle but it took me an hour. It bites into the wood better.
Thank you for your input.

but i think it would hold up fine with just a 17 degree edge too 😊
Thank you for your advise. I will do that.
