To all of you who are using this to work on your level 2 BSL there are a few things you should be aware of. (a) All videos in this series do not have answers, people are encouraged to post their answers for others to compare against. If you disagree with what someone has posted, reply and question it. (b) Signature who do many of the recordings and who will probably be setting your exam will use a set of signs that are relevant to THEIR location, and not yours, Yes it is tough, and you may consider it unfair, but you will not always be communicating with people from your home region, and (c) use the speed option on the videos to slow them down as you learn what may be new versions of what your teacher has taught you. Please believe me, it is a process that works, when you are more practiced bring the speed up, it will stand you in good sted for your exam.Good luck
It's only fair if you are TAUGHT different regional varieties. I am a language teacher, and what I can tell you for a fact is that, regardless of the language that is being tested, assessment should be based on what is taught in class. Full stop!
I'm watching these series of videos to prepare for my exams...and all they have done is destroy my confidence. I have no idea what 90% of this ladies signs mean. Not one of the signs iv been taught for colours, are the same as she uses. How can anyone be expected to pass an exam if the signs you ask us questions on are nothing like what we use in our region.
Thanks for your advice. I'm really struggling and dreading the upcoming exam tomorrow. However, I have done everything I can to get in as much practice as possible, including watching sign to win, purchasing signature's level 2 pack and going to as many deaf clubs I could possibly fit into my schedule. Are you an interpreter or sign language tutor?
i am struggling, i have to run it at 75% speed to read, there are finger spelling alphabet i have never seen, got to the end and no answers. Sorry but how do we know where we are going wrong if no one tells us ?
Had a go, but found this one a bit more difficult. Only just taken level 1, 103, so is a bit advanced for me. My answers are: 1 BDC 2 A C (orA) C - wasn't completely sure on Q2 3 BCA 4 DCC
My 201 is this evening and I just tried this for first time and decided to go at actual speed (rather than slow it down as I have been practising so far) because my assessment will be new and at actual speed so I hope not to be too flustered by that now! BDC, AC_, BCA, DCC. Which seems similar to some of you which is sort of reassuring in a way :/ Having the actual correct answers would be useful, whatever others think.
I’m confused? Not sure why everyone is complaining? if you rewatch the stories, a few times for receptive skills, you will improve much better than just checking with the answers at the end!
no another one with out the answers. I felt like I was improving. then got to the end and couldn't check. I'm sick of this happening. but I'm to scared to skip to the end first encase I do see the answers. I can win!
I got BDC, ACC, BCA, CCC - I love the way she signs, so expressive and her stories are always fun :-) Thanks for uploading!

simple. You can watch it as many times as you want, but you may STILL want to check your answers in the end
