True, but thankfully modern ships don't have class distinctions. Every passenger is as equal as the other. Women can go where they want whereas the pool, Turkish baths, smoking rooms, etc were for first class men only.
@@themisterblasterchannelAnd with lifeboats for everyone. This is what we owe to Titanic's dead...and the radio room being staffed 24/7 but that's because of The Californian.
25:00 3rd class dining room (one of two either side of a watertight bulkhead). It might look simple, but the individual chairs instead of benches was seen as a big deal for 3rd class at the time.
I love seeing these demos. It makes me appreciate the film even more. Like, seeing that oval table in the dining room where they sat in the film and knowing that James Cameron didn't just throw it in there excites me for some reason.
The music in this video is both beautiful and eerie. The imagery of this walkthrough is beautiful as well. I’m glad we have technology to keep Titanic alive after she’s long gone when she’s gone off the ocean floor. So sad, so beautiful.
Such a trip seeing parts of Titanic that are never shown in photos, illustrations or film and television. The story truly unfolds as you see more of what passengers and crew would talk about. Truly amazing what has been done here, unbelievable job.
8:40 I love how modern caution signs, even for staff, always say "please" and "thank you" but this one is just "men WILL break step here. no discussion"
@@Phil-pq4ks”When men were men” Yeah ok grandpa, let’s get you back to bed. Then you can go to sleep and dream about the “glory days” and how things used to be
Probably it was suggested already. We need a game where you have to survive the maiden voyage first as a 1st class passenger, then as a 2nd, 3rd, a crew member, etc. There also might be side missions or achievements (win in a card game, find a hidden place, take a spot in the first boat as a 3rd class passenger).
Ive loved the Titanic my entire life and never saw all these internal parts of the ship until now! I recently decided to start a small Titanic collection that will hopefully grow. It includes small fragments of the hull (from the big peice), rusticle and wood fragments, as well as an an actual peice of coal from Titanic recovered on the 1994 expedition. Keep up these videos, the renders are great!
Just saying your first full Titanic walk through video kickstarted my *entire* Titanic obsession phase so naturally I was looking forward for your demo 2.0 video as well. Thank you for making me obsessed with the Titanic my dude!! And I’m definitely gonna watch this walkthrough soon. The updates are so insane
This is amazing! I just looked up if there is a Titanic game and found this, needless to say I am very excited for it’s eventual release. I really would love to be able to explore the whole ship in first person!
50% of the Titanic, what an accomplishment. We have come a long way,but it is finally here. I'm just too stunned to even begin with what they added. It is simply..amazing!
@@pipeqez911 A day after? probably, a year after? probably not. The human body wouldn't implode at those depths, The only things to implode on a person are the lungs and other air cavities. The state of the bodies would also depend on how exposed to currents of oxygenated water, and deep sea scavengers it was exposed to over the years, also bones would dissolve pretty quickly at that depth. But some scientists believe human remains could be found deep in the ship due to the cold, pressurized environment.
The titanic was a very beautiful and well made ship. It unfortunately had some flaws though which contributed to it's sinking and the deaths of approximately 1,500 people. Fortunately their deaths are not in vain. Because ships are equipped with radar, 24 hour radio use, the international ice patrol exists, and their is enough lifeboats for everyone onboard ships.
POV: You're on the Titanic. It didn't sink, but everyone freaked out and left the ship in collective panic and delusion. Now, you're the only one left onboard, just strolling about, while the ship is floating in the middle of the Atlantic on a chilly, sunny day: 15 April 1912.
This game should be put in the Library of Congress when it’s finished. I’m not even joking. You guys have brought a true piece of history back from the bottom of the ocean.
The Olympic was a similar vessel, effectively being the Titanic’s older sister. Following the Titanic disaster, a crew strike occurred that resulted in the ship getting more lifeboats and hull reinforcement. Surprisingly, it was the only ship of its class that didn’t sink, given the unfortunate history of the ship’s class. It was involved in three ship collisions, including one that sank a German U-boat during WWI.
I had been looking for a game like this for ages, since I had always been a Titanic Fan. I became obsessed with exploring Titanic in a Roblox game, but it didn't have all the interiors. So then, I found this beauty of a game. This game is seriously going to preserve history for ages to come.
The titanic's 112th year anniversary was this year also it was on the same days of the week it hit the iceberg and sank. The titanic hit the iceberg at 2:38 am greenwich mean time (UTC) on April 15th 1912 and sank at 5:18 am greenwich mean time (UTC) on April 15th 1912. The ship's sinking and the deaths of about 1,500 people are not in vain. Much improvements have been made in tracking and detecting shipping hazards and life saving technologies. May the victims and the survivors of the titanic rest in peace. They will always be remembered.
Love it, really interesting tour of a very fine ship! If I might comment however, the picture of King George V at 1:58 is probably a tad later than 1912..!
I don’t see one at 1:58, but George V’s picture does appear at around the 27:57 mark and you’re quite correct, the photograph they’ve used wouldn’t have been taken until the early Twenties (it appears to have been published in 1923). Well spotted!
Question: Will there be any Easter Eggs from the James Cameron movie to find in the final product? (Like the sitting room where Rose got drawn like one of Jack’s French girls, a breakfast room with furniture tossed about from Cal’s little tantrum, the car in the cargo hold with a sweaty hand print upon the window, stuff like that?)
Of everything happening that is terrifying to see, the worst for me is the groans of the ship. It's a ship figuratively in the throes of dying, and it so chilling. Imagine being there with no way off, hearing this and seeing the rising water. Omg how horrible that must have been.😢
So beautiful. Such a shame they were so arrogant while believing the ship was unsinkable. Some of the areas would make me claustrophobic. I’ve been on 2 cruises on todays ships and had no problems with claustrophobia
Belfast built her, stearage passengers made the most money from her; they were the first to die. Ismay was lucky to get into a life boat right at the last minute. Captain Smith went down with the ship. More 1st class passengers died than 2nd class. Maybe there were more women and children in 2nd class.
1:00:54 This is cabin C-73, which in the game Titanic: Adventure Out of Time, was the cabin you stayed in. That portable wardrobe in that cabin is a reference to that game. Besides that piece of luggage though, the appearance is as it actually was on the Titanic, rather than the game, which didn't show the correct style.
