Jimin It does represent him because on the day of his memorial there was an odd pale Aqua blue star in the sky. Many fans believed that the star represented him (or was him in the stars shining down on us). Therefore, the pale blue lights represents Jonghyun and comfort.

This song hit me hard. I just started listening to Shinee's new stuff as I don't follow them very closely. The MV got me with that extra mic stand and I cried. I guess it's partly because I lost an old friend of mine two weeks ago. His death wasn't necessarily under the same circumstances as Jonghyun's, but in a way, they both took they're own life. My friend's accidental, and Jonghyun's intentional. When you lose a friend, it's easy to be angry at everyone who is just living their life, it feels like the world should stop and grieve with you. It feels wrong to smile or laugh, but we have to keep going. I'm in recovery from a disorder that wants to kill me, but I'm fighting. I'm living for the ones who didn't make it this far. And that's why we must accept loss and keep going. Keep going for the ones who no longer can.

Hello from Toronto! Me too! I saw him first on the K-drama called Hwarang, thought he was cute then I looked him up. Ever since then I have been scouring the internet world for every drama, tv show or variety show that he has done. I did not really listen to Kpop then, it's mostly drama OSTs (the ballads). It started recently though that I have been listening to Shinee, especially their new album then looked back to listen to their older songs. I am officially obsessed with Minho! Even my husband knows so well. LOL! Minho is just such a bright character, funny, very warm-hearted, good with kids, handsome & sexy! BTW my fave song from all they released this year is Tonight & I Say (love the ballads!) and such a cool choreography of All Day All Night!!!

Based on my thoughts and interpretation of the MV:
The activities they were doing at the beginning were things they do in their daily lives in order to keep busy or they're things Jonghyun did.
If you notice, when they are facing each other in the center they're all dressed in some form of aqua/pearlescent sky blue color.
Also that aqua light that they looked up is Jonghyun because they look up towards the sky as the light comes from above.
As they climb the stairs, the aqua lights are like a guide towards the stage that is at the very end of the stairs.
Also, when they make that distant shot, not only are there 5 microphones with Jonghyun's in the middle, it seems that they are singing yo him and also the lights at a distance seem like the Shawols with their lightsticks when SHINee perform.
Overall, Jonghyun guided them and they went up to the stage in order to reach him.
End of my thought. I legit cried the first time I saw the Mic so yeaaah...

I dont know whether this is important or not.. but both Onew and Taemin have ice in their scene.. for example, Onew put a lot of ice in his water whrn he opened the fridge.. Taemin drank a glass of ice water and he also bath in a tub full of ice water.. Idk what it is supposed to mean.. are they numbing their feelings??😭

Yeah for when they were all alone in the beginning, I had a thought that those were the activities they were doing to keep busy or was their method to cope with the situation. Like, Onew resorted to writing music, Tae working out, Key dancing and Minho went back straight into working/acting...After half a year, it still hurts

I wasn't in the fandom either but as someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and has also lost a family member to suicide, it really made me sad when Jonghyun passed. I looked into more of who he was after it happened and he seemed like such a lovely person. I wish I had found them before.

Cam, it is very emotional for everyone who loved Shinee. It's ok to cry also. "Lock you down" is such a bop and has his voice in it from the new album. Please give it a listen. I always feel like his voice which is very dynamic is missing from the album now, hence why he is the main vocalist and I was pleasantly surprised and complete for a full 4 mins but the sound and music Shinee is putting out is great without him. Okcia I'm the same way too. I didn't stan Shinee, or any of the particular members, but I did know about them quite a bit. So when the news about Jonghyun came out, I don't even know why but I started bawling my eyes out. And this too, the music video and the lyrics are making me cry.

Gosh those lyrics were the worst version. This is not a comment against you choosing it though, it's against the channel who did the trans huhu in some portions it's not even the same lyrics at all? Like Key's "it seems like we are still dreaming" the korean lyrics didn't even say that?? Even the chorus with the "moksori nara" (voice + sky) they translated it like it said "moksori nun ara" (we know your voice). The part that I couldn't believe they changed was the ending lyric that was supposed to say something like "we'll be together until the end" that they translated to "of our novel." Why'd they have to do it that way... SM should have just released the MV with lyrics because they're meant to be seen and understood together.

Ok watching the music video itself sent tears down my face. Reading the lyrics, I was sobbing so hard that It ended up turning into a full on anxiety attack. It hadn’t been long since we had gotten the news, and even before we had gotten the news I had been going through a rough time and was mentally tired, in pain, but then watching the music video, I remembered that even though he’s physically gone from this earth, he isn’t gone spiritually. There is no past tense, there only is present tense and Jonghyun is ALWAYS with us. He will always have a beautiful voice, amazing dance moves, a kind heart and personality, and so so so much more. When we lose someone, they will ALWAYS be with us, watching us and smiling down on us. Jonghyun is watching, smiling above from the heavens. We love him, he loves us. 💕

On the 18th I was listening to BTS 'Crystal Snow' and when Jimin hit the high notes in the background of the last chorus it just hit me really hard, I was thinking about Jonghyun the whole day and I just started crying. I wasn't really into SHINee until a few day ago, the 16th probably, then I remembered that one of the members died and I searched up how he died and I've never, I mean never cried over a person so much. My dad and I both have PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and Suicidal thoughts(I'm 13 btw), so I know how he felt I just wish that somebody was there to understand and stop him from doing what he did, my dad almost did it once because of a "friend" but he told my mom and he got put in the hospital for maybe a week or so, and I'm really glad that he is still here! I'm sorry for the longass comment, but I really needed to vent, and thank you to anyone who read this far! Make sure to love yourself and others!
