Check the functionallity of the width knob... it works in conjunction with the elliptical filter!! Cheers from Argentina!!

You aren't hearing anything when you cranked the width knob because its only affecting the low end and you choose the cutoff frequency on the knob below. This is actually using for making the low end more mono and not for widening generally. If you crank the width knob to the left and then choose the cutoff frequency below you will see what I'm talking about. This is usually used when mastering vinyl but it can be useful to make the low end more punchy in some cases.

Looks like the new BetterMaker Mastering EQ on the desk. Been looking for a nice overview and review on it. Any chance you have plans to do one?

Ya man. It's great, but they still haven't released the plugin which is pretty disappointing. Once they do I will do a full review on it.

Does acoustica plugins use a lot of cpu power on protools more than studio one?

Hello! Great video! I've downloaded the trial but it has a lot of CPU consumption and I need to rise the lattency (2048) to make this plugin run better but is not working smoothly anyway? I've macPro cuadcore 3.0ghz 22gb ram OSX El capitan. I can only use one instance of this plugin in a mastering session. I also use Studio One 4. Can you tell me if I'm doing something wrong? Thank you.

Use reaper daw or samplitude they handle these plugins better than most major daws

sounded better without low shelf boost, it wasn't needed.
