Great point! I remember recording an oboist once, and hearing Ferling etude no 1 thinking to myself that someone definitely stole from someone else. Considering that Rose lived around 40 years later than Ferling, and constant stolen chuncks of Bach's violin material in Rose studies as well - we can attribute the "music borrowing" to bad boy Rose. :)

@@goalexey No stealing involved. The Rose Etudes are all very clearly marked as "based in the Etudes of FW Fehrling." They were clarineticized by Rose.
