151 definitely took the win in terms of value but for me, Crown Zenith is the better one. Gen 8 cards never let us down. Crown Zenith usually gives much better cards than these. Idk what happened this time.
151 is the perfect set to introduce the new generations to what Pokemon was like in the old days. So they can see how it all started and be grateful for those 151 symbols of joy

He just pulled his first Charizard ever from a Crown Zenith ETB box.. Was the V.. He was pumped.. You should probably count the holo energies as hits from 151. Those are pretty valuable to players and most hold $1 in value and will most likely go up, especially if they have the mew tail swirl on them. I definitely think 151 had more value in pulls. But it was pretty close to a tie imo.
Man, I genuinely didn’t expect that. I’ve opened almost 50 packs of 151 since release, and still haven’t pulled anything but a regular full art Pokémon. Cz on the other hand rarely disappoints for me

I consider the textured ultrarare energies from Crown Zenith to be a major pull. I opened a lot of packs from that set and couldn't come close to completing the energy set. The 151 energies are in like every 3 packs.
Overall I prefer CRZ because it so so many amazing different art rares. But 151 just ticks the nostalgia buttons in all the right places. I'd say I love both sets evenly.

I bought one of the Walmart exclusive pikachu boxes last week and got my worst showing of crown zenith to date. Just 2 pulls in 7 packs. Great by any other sets standards, but low for CZ.
I think the 151 set is by far one of my favorite sets to date, with the best pull rates! The artworks are so well done, and of course the classic original Pokémon really bring that nostalgic factor that we all love. Happy Holidays to you and your family Rev!
Ok can i just say that the 151 set is so nice in a binder in order of the book. Like, whole evolution lines done by the same artist just makes me happy. Im sure not all of them in the collection are like that, but it just pleases me. Also, just send me that persian from 151, so my base set can be complete, thanks, lol
