Inverted winger or inside forward. His best position is inside forward.
He started as a striker but position changed as he’s seen as more of an inverted winger, mostly on the left as he is right footed.
This is common for some footballers to grow up playing one position then it turns out they are really something different. That being said he should be well enough drilled from a youth to the very early part of his Man Utd career (including still filling in some games as a striker) but he has played not so well at all which is quite shocking imo.

You are confused with a refusal agreement between clubs. A buy back clause is agreed with the players contract, which is why both this and sell on clauses expire with player contracts
@@mattk120 You're either a child or really DENSE. The buyback clause being triggered, means that the player and the club that wants him back need to agree on a contract between both parties. THERE NEEDS TO BE A NEW CONTRACT and no one can make the player to sign a contract that he doesn't want.
Even if it was written that if the clause is triggered that the player can't refuse, it would be immediatly ruled out because it's against the law.

I actually think although it was dumb getting rid of Fernandez with no cover for LB, they probably thought about the income for him and probably that long term amass can turn into a better LB.m than Fernandes. I think he’s stronger built for the Prem and has a lot of the same attributes. Built a little like Luke Shaw with a few playing similarities also. It’s all about the coaching. Many managers would turn him into a very good player at the very least imo.

Mark, it is very simple: stop hyping players that join like Ugarte ("he's the missing piece") or DeLigt, then the nobheads will stop being hypercritical. Ugarte is a nice addition, DeLigt is a good upgrade on Maguire and so forth. MUFC currently has one international class player with BF - currently struggling, we have a couple of national class players with DeLigt, Dalot, Eriksen, Martinez, Rashford and Mazraoui. That's it. ETH has so far not managed to form a team that actually is worth more than the sum of it's pieces. That is his task, nothing more, nothing less.
Buy a striker that has a history of scoring goals would help. Both H&Z never did score many goals ,ever! That might be a clue?! It’s not all that difficulty is it.

A striker needs to be able to GET INTO CHANCES. You don't seem to understand this. If you buy a league two striker for a top club he would mostly not even get into positions to finish. So that would then be the fault of his team mates? A top striker needs to be at the right place at the right time and use his physicality/runs to get into good chances. This is a huge part of a striker's abilities.
Mark mentioning that stat about Rasmus ranking 55th (last) for chances created for makes me laugh because half this fanbase will tell you Bruno is a world class chance creator and blame our wide forwards who are instructed to shoot.

I don't understand people who say get Tuchel!
Not understanding it would cost over £300M+
So, he would want around £200M spent on new players, it would cost £17M+ to sack Ten Hag, employ Tuchel and his coaches.
Tuchel would probably have a problem with new signings Deligt, Mazrouri, Mount (from Chelsea) etc in which payments are outlied over the next few seasons!
We have NO money !!!
