My daughter and I will be there in March 2024, I wasn't aware the swim-up rooms offered 2 beds. Do you have a choice? We booked a club room, do we need to ask for 2 beds?
Thanks for sharing, looks like the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. We definitely want a swim up suite. My only concern is the day beds appear to be right in the sun with no shade? I haven't been to an all inclusive in so long but the one thing I remember not liking was having difficulty finding shade particularly because people would get up at the crack of dawn and take all the spaces.
Love the video. I am going in July and have a swim up room booked. I'm really bummed about the current seaweed situation. But the resort looks so awesome that there is a lot to overcome my beach disappointment.

Hey! Thanks so much! Average age is 30+ I’d say. There are honeymooners and then quite a few 50+ couples and groups. There is a low key but fun nightlife but not in the same way as the Barcelo, which has a younger crowd and lots more drinking I’d say. Hope this helps ☺️

I've never been to MX, but we just stayed at Excellence Punta Cana a few weeks ago, and they gave us a complementary free 2 night stay at any Excellence location, and since we have another week off work next Month (August 2022) we were thinking of coming to this one in Cancun. Again though, I've NEVER been to MX, is the transportation to and from airport safe? That is literally the ONLY concern I have. Once were at the resort, I know it's all good at that point. I see the Excellence hotel offers private transportation, but just curious your experience with getting to and from Cancun Airport to the resort and/or if you have any tips for me. Thanks!!
Book the private transportation through the resort, and ask the name of the transportation company, the type/color of vehicle that will pick you up, and the uniform they wear (what color pants, what color shirt). Do this and you’ll be fine.

Haven’t experience the resort with the club but we can assure you, you will still have a wonderful luxurious time without it. I think some of the club perks include rooms with a beach view instead of just a pool view, and I think you can rent day beds and have extra personal service - that’s our understanding at least. Hope this helps! And have a wonderful time either way ☺️

By chance do you have a phone number to contact the hotel, the only way to communicate with the hotel is via email, and they don't respond to the emails were sending. We went there and the worst thing about this lovely hotel were the americans who were there.spitting chewing tobacco into empty coke bottles and pissing in the lazy river. They were like a bunch of meerkats let loose .you would think they had never been on a holiday before but they had to let everyone know that they were there. Good luck mexico you can keep them.

Do the roof top pools have a weight limit? I’ve heard some resorts won’t allow for two people to go because of the limit.

That's a good question! May slightly? It was always very comfortable going into the pools and hot tubs :)
