Yeah, gives about 15mil++ when we win frontline roulette
Pro tip: you can queue for a job and switch to another job for frontlines. The job you queued up for gets exp. This way, you can level a different job and play PvP with the job you’re comfortable with.

As someone who did use the Trust system for all of Dawntrail, Krile actually does use aoe skills quite frequently. The others don't, but it's a step at least.
Good Krile ! I always knew, that she is smarter than everyone else.
Well Krile is a Pictomancer and most of Pictomancers attacks are AoE. So she’s very useful to bring if you are doing Trusts.

I'm sorry, but I'm gonna call that a lie. I was leveling VIper, so I used Trust on like 3 dungeons and always picked Krile, she doesn't AoE. Like, at all. And if she does, its once every blue moon. I was picking her because Picto AoE is extremely strong, so I went in expecting trash mobs to go down faster since that's the big downside of using Trust, trash mobs take forever since NPCs don't AoE. Nope. Exactly same speed with or without Krile. And ACT was showing she was doing around 12k DPS against 4-6 mobs when a person playing Picto can do do 40k+ by just using the hammer.
@taigaaisaka6305 You should probably watch the visuals then instead of an external tool. Krile uses aoe skills so much it probably would be as slow as having anyone else, even when there are only two targets, and I have never seen her use the hammer once. The picto skills have a pretty clear visual range to show they were used, though.
extra tip for doing MSQ on main..do 6 fates when possible when you enter a new region and buy a riding map (standard speed is so slow)
just make sure you do it before you unlock flying if you're going to, riding maps are useless once you unlock flying since flight speed is faster than any running speed
@@Bonzi77 true, personally I stil prefer faster mount speed (so for me riding maps aren't useless)
Or just have one of the Mogshop Bike mounts. ^^ i was so suprised how fast it is. Now i dont have to touch it ever again for the nexr 2.5 Years ^^

Combat manuals and Free Company bonuses do not stack. They are the same buff and only the stronger one will be applied

I haven't quite finished the MSQ yet (on lv 98 quests currently), but if I remember correctly from EW, the formula was fairly simple. To go from the first odd number level to the next (like 91 to 93), it was 5 dungeon runs of the level you started on (91 in my example). The first two runs would get you to the even numbered lv and then three more runs to get you to the next odd lv, where you can then start running the next dungeon.
that’s so bad tho lmao. When you’re even level you do roulettes. Then when you have no more roulettes on an even level do something like crystalline conflict ranked it gives a shit ton of xp

I leveled my main too fast (I was 100 right after I finished the 91 dungeon 😂) and now I’m knocking the rust off of the next job I’m taking to 100. It’s gonna be fun getting everything capped again!

I use MSQ, Fates, Hunting Board, and Trust mainly for my DPS jobs. Thanks to DT releasing two DPS jobs, Roulette queues for healers and tanks are almost non-existent (Alliance Raids are, surprisingly, only a little longer than normal.) I'm leveling one of each Role Type (including all 3 DPS types) so I can do all the Role Quests before finishing DT.
Typically I worry about 2-3 levels a day, odds are dungeons even are roulettes, so I will do leveling roulette, trial, and frontline roulettes which should be enough for one level, I will use hunts for even

you can still claim levequest bonuses from the challenge log on combat classes
17 walnut lumber (16 level 20 leves in quarrymill, 1 level 25 in gridania) gives you room to do 3 random battleleves in mor dhona for that same 3.3m exp bonus once a week
I do msq with 1 class and the dungeon with a other classs. In between some fates.
With the 95er quest did i hit the Limit. I missed some exp to progress

My problem is that some of my alts finished Endwalker and I gave them the level 89 equipment you can buy in Old Sharleyan. Now when I get them to 91, my itemlevel is to low and I can't use the level-appropriate dungeons. What can I do to remedy this?
Poetic gear from radz at han or the item coffers u get in msq, or u can run the voidmoon gear dungeon to bring you up quickly

If ur a healer or tank the third dungeon will get you from 95-100 in like 6 or 7 runs and it’s fast. Got PLD RPR and Sage to 100 in a few hrs that way. I don’t know why but it gives more xp than the later dungeons.

Step 2: buy level skip

I could be wrong but pretty sure just Sch is a gain on 2+ targets
@@zillahstar exactly. Most classes are a gain on 3+ Targets but SCH is the only one that has a gain on 2+ Targets.
Square enix didn't calculated the exp from msq cuz I needed to do 1 extra dungeon when the lv 99 dungeon came
How about returning/new player who just got 100 way before last zone but all other jobs only level 80…:( Endwalker zones are brutal for fates. I really want to level Viper, Machinist, and WHM but feel only WHM will be doable with dungeon spams
Apply the same thing to Endwalker content. A Chocobo is really important though
I purposely stopped doing the MSQ at 97 quests because my first job hit 100. Now I will get another job to 97 quickly to finish the MSQ so I'm not missing out on all the glorious EXP

I play Summoner mostly, but going for basically all other jobs too. I haven't played Monk and Samurai yet, though.

I lvld WHM and SMN (SCH) at the same time while doing MSQ, it was comfortable however I did do in every area 6 fates and all the eather current quests too + some interesting looking side quests in total probably 10~

with roulettes and fates in the mix, yes. My MSQ is at lvl 95, and i have PCT and SMN at 97, MCH at 91, and PLD at 93.
Mix with roulettes and wonderous tales. There’s also double xp for your first cc match after reset. I’m levelling 3, Drk 95, Viper 95 and Reaper 94 and I’m about half way through 94 MSQ

Doing roulettes in one of the jobs, yes. Keeping 2 jobs at the 96 range in 95 MSQ.
Only if you’re doing msq slowly over many days and doing a lot of side content. I was more or less on par with MSQ the whole way through finishing it the first day, definitely not remotely ahead enough to level a second job.
MSQ isn't enough, i skipped side and aether points quests and had point where i had to grind 99lvl without msq because quest blocked me.
Meanwhile I only did the MSQ and Aether Current related stuff and got overlevelled

@@wiziek imagine being part of such an open world with so many easy ways to get experience and telling someone that they shouldn't do more than the bare minimum.
I chose to level a Pictomancer before starting the MSQ and I was almost able to keep my Warrior leveled with my Pictomancer by taking turns with the MSQ quests, but I had to stop around 96 on the Warrior because the MSQ out-leveled it. Once I hit 100 on the Picto I did a couple roulettes on the Warrior to hit 99 and I continued on with the MSQ. It probably would have been better if I leveled the Warrior sooner to catch up rather than just continuing on with the MSQ on the Pictomancer until hitting 100.
I haven’t even started the new expansion. Still, got to go finish the subterranean MSQ for Golbez. But I’m in no hurry most obviously.
Edit: It's way more complicated as almost all potencies got changed in DT. Just go 3+ for aoes unless you're struggling with agro on tank.
Not a bad guide, but a quick note about aoes.
As a general note for aoes, 3 minimum is great advice... But with the exception of white mage, the other healers and all tanks get a benefit out of aoe-ing 2+ enemies unless it got changed in DT (SCH is still 2+ after DT). I'll check the skills in a bit to see if they were changed.
PhysRanged (at least Bard from my knowledge) should AoE starting on 2 targets already.
@Lewdiculous I just did some numbers, only scholar gets a benefit from aoeing 2+, all tanks and the other 3 healers are 3+ now.

PLD 406/157 3+
WAR 347/125 3+
DRK 360/140 3+
GNB 430/187 3+
WHM 330/150 3+
SCH 310/180 2+
AST 270/130 3+
SAG 360/170 3+
Tanks are the full combo ÷ the number of gcds: pld is 7 hits, gnb is 4. The actual dps would vary due to dots, ogcds, long cooldown effects like inner release or living Shadow, and resource based like Fell cleave... etc.
Scholar is the only healer that is at least neutral on 2 target still. The other healers all got big enough ST potency buffs in DT to push their AoE to 3+.

Also, if you are missing like, 2mil xp or something, make sure you discover every part of each zone, when you discover a zone fully you get like 500k xp roughly

For me, i ran my dps samurai through the msq and fates, while i ran my paladin through all of the dungeons. I figure this was the best way for me.
Yeah. Using DRK in a dungeon is horrible so I just ended up hitting fates and boom. Level 100 after a bit of grinding.
Just do the daily roulettes and you will be 100 in 3 days, done.
I think it's important to mention that you stated the FC buff is 15% when in fact it is 10%. The squadron buff is 15% and they do not stack so if you have both just use your squadron buffs.

FATEs are bananas this expansion. Im getting 525kish per FATE, and the boosts are big, and Forlorn mobs seem to be popping up a lot more often. I got my WHM two levels in a little over in an hour with a full group instance hopping when the zone goes empty. We werent organized, people were coming and going. I loooooove FATE grinding anyway.
Frontlines is like half a level, and it only takes 45 days to get the max reward per season (4 months long).
So far I feel like MSQ Roulette has given me half a level each time, and it could be tank privilege bu5 Leveling roulette has been good to me. I'm just now getting to lvl 92 MSQ but after doing 100% of the map and tackling all the quests in the first two zones, my WAR is 100 and DRK just dinged 97 😂
I'm going to have to start funneling quest and hunts to GNB so that I don't waste any MSQ exp

Working fine for me. ReShade, the FSR2 mod and Dalamud all working.
If you just use ReShade I don't see why it wouldn't work, it was working in the benchmark already.
Now, you mentioned shaders, and some shaders aren't working for me, for example SMAA/FASMAA, maybe some of the LUT ones, but "CinematicLUT" works I believe.
If you're struggling with UI masking, don't use KeepUI, you're better off using the REST addon for ReShade, there's a version especially for FFXIV.

@@Lewdiculous I don't know i'm using my old shaders and they were fine before the expansion but after the expansion it ain't working, About dalamud plugins it's still down and waiting for updates after the private test is done.
@@xXxEqSxXx testing for dalamud is going well, plugins are coming back already, most of the good ones are working - guess a clean install of ReShade is in order then
I had two characters reach 100 by the time i finished msq. Mostly cause i would get distracted by fates lol.

My main is already at 100 and I'm only at MSQ 95

MSQ is definitely not calculated well for xp. I have done nothing but MSQ, I was missing around 7 mil xp for lvl 99 MSQ, so i precisely reached lvl 99 and started MSQ again, I have hit 100 before even finishing lvl 99 MSQ quests. Not to mention you have to do lvl 100 MSQ quests after as well.

I reached 100 on WHM after completing the lvl 95 MSQ dungeon, without grinding anything beforehand. SE drastically changed the way we get exp this expansion. I didn't do a single side quest.
you didn't do any roulettes? i kinda doubt you got to 100 through just msq while its at 95
Ive been playing ff14 since 1.0, but for the first time ever im going to skip an expansion . the story is like a Naruto filler arc pointless fetching quests for the first half of the game X_x . Im done at least for now well see hopefully the patch stories arent as boring as this expansion ......
I love wuk lamat as a character, I enjoy the music and the look of the new zones but everything feels kinda pointless now in the story. I find myself getting bored and just sitting there not caring about anything going on and log off after doing a handful of quests.
Beginning of a new arc, that's why. Tho i agree the first half is a slog.
I have to agree that it didn't start great..but I have being enjoying since lv 95. It's not HW or ShB but they have layed down the foundations for another saga. They have opted to start slow and build gradually. They know they might lose a few by doing this. It has potential going forward.
