I really enjoyed this show a lot. It was funny, sad, grabbed at your heart strings and made you hate them in the first place. I do have to say that I did not expect the exact ending. It surprised me a bit. Although the ending was expected, the way it happened really made me happy so I wanted to keep watching. A simple love story through time mixed with demons. Great for a captivating watch. Love love love🥰♥💕
Was happily surprised to see Li Jiaqi in a mini drama. Story is reminiscent of Love Before Immortality character arcs and themes as well as Love Between Fairy and Devil. Also, did they purposely do the ML makeup to look like Wang Hedi from LBFAD? Lastly, whenever ML calls her his maidservant in chinese I recall Cheng Yecheng calling to Zhao Lusi in Love of a Thousand Years.
