Sir u r logically and technically correct. I made Rose plantation from kalam before watching ur video. In this I used half banana and put the lower side of rose kalam in this and then plant the kalam in pot. So whether it would give results and give roots...?

Use it ...Nothing will go wrong ....but don't use it on soft root and small plants ...And make it in a air tight container for 7 days
And then before using make a ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 with water
Don't use pure fertiliser

If we keep it in air tight container and along with this if we add onion peels as well. Then I never see any fungus in this water. Even for bio enzyme we keep these peels in air tight continer.
