How Certified Balsamic Vinegar Of Modena Is Made
I remember having some olives soaked in balsamic vinegar as an appetiser in a restaurant. The taste was sublime. Even after having the main course I still couldn't get the taste out of my mouth.
Omg I’m about to try that
Congrats you experienced something others do regularly.
@@waynewayne9693 really dude? Way to go internet bully 👏
@@waynewayne9693 lmao your life will get better you don’t have to take out on this dude
sublime is also a good band👍
I was lucky enough to get a private tour of a small producer back in 2014 and tried one aged for 50 years, all I can say was WOW!!!
Great video, very informative and I was super happy they showed how basic balsamic vinegar is made and not only the super fancy stuff no one can afford.
If its not from Modena its not balsamico. It is liquid garbage.
Wonder how they stay in business if no one can afford it 🤔
Wonderful video with plenty of imagery showing the process. I love balsamic vinegar on some foods. Thank you.
What does it taste?
I love balsamic vinegar 😋
I live in the states. There is a restaurant where I live that is known for their Pizza which to me is just ok. What I go there for is their Balsamic Vinegarette dressing on top of a House salad. The pizza is secondary.
I learned about the Modena balsamic vinegar from Somebody Feed Phil 😍
Looks good
I just bought a bottle of this and put it over a salad and it was delicious. Now Im marinating a cucumber overnight for breakfast. I love vinegar
All you need for proper insalata is good quality Olive oil, Balsamico from Modena and lettuce. Simple is better
It's fake, real one is too expensive
I love insider
Try this on strawberries and cheese you will be hooked like drugs
Even on ice cream 🤤
@@xkenny1995 what does it taste i want to try too.
Strawberries and cheese huh? Definitely gonna try it. I love balsamic vinegar
I second this.
Proud of my city ❤❤
Proud of my country 💕
Why?????
@@srinath8183 balsamic vinegar would be my guess.
Satisfying
Imo the snell is so addicting the taste makes the food u eat taste more vibrant.
YASSS I LIVE THERE YAY
this is a certified balsamic classic
I want to eat those grapes straight away
Granny they're actually very sour
@@oomy8757 nope they're not! The sweeter, the better!
Jay Joshi nope they’re not! Fresh grapes are always sour
@@oomy8757 yes.. but still they need to have a minimum amount of sugar content for them to be used in making balsamic vinegar.. that means very sour grapes cannot be used
They're wine grapes not good for eating
What’s the music at 1:15 it’s so soothing
That is cool and weird at the same time
Cool
I live in Bologna, the chieftown of Emilia Romagna. (There are Modena, Reggio Emilia et)
*Why does it look so good to drink*
Cuz it looks like wine
*because it is*
Balsamic with extra virgin olive oil mozzarella basil and unripe tomato’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
There’s one on Vancouver Island, only one outside of Italy!
Where is that?
Now the glaze
This is much better than that other rubbish how vinegar is made video.
Who is ready to get drunk with me
為什麼初放在橡木桶發酵 不對? why at first you put it in the barrel to ferment? is wrong
Music Title please..
Some brands of balsamic vinegar can be really pricey.
This did not show the important parts of the process: like switching into the barrels, etc...
That’s a big word for elmo
i love this type of vinegar. Chop up some lettuce and pour the vinegar all over it its great
What does it taste?
@@mellowyellow360 Balsamic vinegar has a very acidic, bitter and sweet taste, it's kind of hard to explain, just note that unlike other types of vinegar it can be eaten with fruits and desserts too!
As an American, I used to work for 1st generation Sicilian Americans from Brooklyn and they were always disgusted I would love taking sufflé cup shots of balsamic of moderna before the main night rush 😂 stuff is glorious
how to you seperate the flys when they get trapped in the grape dumping ?
extra protein
That’s exactly what I was looking at!

That vinegar's got legs😊

So the grapes shown here are purple, yet supposedly balsamic is made of Trebbiano, a white grape. Is this just stock footage or actual grapes from the production of balsamic vinegar?
Actually the internet siteov consortium states:
"L'Aceto Balsamico di Modena è ottenuto da mosti d'uva parzialmente fermentati e/o cotti e/o concentrati. L'uva proviene esclusivamente dai vitigni di Lambrusco, Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Albana, Ancellotta, Fortana e Montuni."
Balsamic balsamic balsamic. My mother never heard of balsamic.
those are member berries 0:59
South Park lol
Adam Raguesa:
There is no way bees among the grapes aren't also being cold pressed.
I was thinking that. Must add to the fast
ITS *D A C C*
could you believe that grapes can make us drunk.
Muhammad Ali not the grapes. The yeast that eat the grape carbohydrates produce ethyl alcohol as waste.
wine or vinegar??? why grapes???
are they grapes or blueberries? They look so much like blueberries?
Grapes
This isn’t real balsamic. It’s the fake stuff.
A real and authentic balsamic vinegar has only the grape must which is Trebbiano grapes cooked down to just the right amount of syrup. After that a little bit of older balsamic vinegar is added to it and it sits in wooden barrels anywhere from 2 years to 50 years. The Traditional balsamic vinegars are classified as such after being aged in wooden barrels at least for 12 years and then they are awarded points in blind taste tastes.
Ah, so how many flies per bottle then?
I hate that drink but I love grapes!
You're not supposed to drink vinegar. lol
lol
@@SDayle I prefer diluted between meals
That looks like soy sause
you have a good point that we do not want to get confuse about soysauce and balsamic Vinegar 😅
YoYo
Isnt it 100% not 20% wth
Mate..... is it BALSAMIC??
how would that make a dIfFeReNcE?
That was strange… 90% is exported, 8% stays in Italy… what happens to the other 2%?
Yea i guess you missed the part where it needs oxygenation right ?
Is this halal food for Muslim answer please any body?????
From my recent researching of balsamic vinegar, it seems to be this video is disingenuous. Real "tradizionale" balsamic vinegar should have zero wine vinegar added to it.
Imagine the smell if a barrel were to bust
lots of flies
Lol
Is it halal?
I thought 'balsamic' mean made from spices :(
I put this stuff on my hot dogs
Ummmm...okay? Didn’t know I needed to know but...
Lmao
this was not a very useful video. the real DOP balsamic vinegar is a minimum 12-year process. not 60 days.
What about the roots and leaves? That doesn't look safe
Osaro Osayande it’s just a plant there are worse things in other foods
No roots. Stems and leaves are perfectly safe. Not poisonous and contains tannins
Roots? They're spriggs from grapes there's no roots
0:33: Me on my period 😖😖😖😖
😐nasty
eW
Why is Italy always so pretentious about food made there
Lol
