Basajjabalaba denied bail

City businessman Hassan Basajjabalaba will spend another night at Luzira Prison after the Anti-Corruption Court Chief Magistrate Irene Akankwasa denied him bail. Akankwasa said she needed time to study documents from both the prosecution and defense lawyers. Basajjabalaba was yesterday remanded to Luzira after one of his sureties was rejected for having two residency local council letters.
