She is a true makeup artist, whilst these "beauty guru's", I feel, are just big kids displaying their hobby. Which is fine, but it's sad that they gain so much fame, whilst they aren't professionals. Ahh, the power of teen girls! (Since they mostly cause the popularity)
Yes and putting on a whole gallon of foundation and concealr is not makeup oh and not to mention highlighters.

I think that's the problem I have had all these years. I just can't do these awesome huge wings that are so in trend right now. But I'm pretty sure this compliments my eyes. What have I been doing all this time! :)

you can see these girls on youtube putting a lot of everyting, creating crazy eyeshadow looks, fake lashes etc, and you see this, simple liner, and it looks 1000x times better. Lisa is a master!
It would be great if you could do winged liner on someone's hooded eyes. I'm struggling a lot with it cause my eyes are hooded and I know your tips are awesome and it would help a lot. :*

Cindy was the very first big supermodel I did make up on (right at the beginning of my career). I did a cover shoot with her ... and it was the 90's ... so yeah good idea! X

just tried this out as soon as i finished watching the video, and wow wish i discovered it before... i would always make the whole line over my eyelid so thick as slowly i would add onto it to "fix" it. This technique is fool-proof :)

Lisa, you are absolutely wonderful!! Your skills are unparalleled. I always look forward to your new videos. Could you PLEASE do a tutorial on how to cover melasma, particularly for someone with dry skin? I have used every product on the market to conceal my melasma, and everything I've used (Laura Mercier, Estee Lauder, Kevyn Aucoin) that is full-coverage just looks fake and creases immediately. Also, I've scoured youtube for videos on concealing melasma, but I haven't been able to find one where the make-up looks natural and will last all day. Finally, if you have any tips for treating melasma, that would also be great. Thank you so much for everything!!
This is a good idea, Ive been asked about it a lot recently. I had melasma on my forehead after my son was born - I agree, its frustrating and tricky to cover X
If you go in the sun even for a second it will be highlighted even more. I'm sure you know. I have to put SPF 100 on my upper lip and at least 35 elsewhere. It evens it out temporarily. Not sure if that's the healthiest tip.

Loveliest lady of TH-cam. It's seriously refreshing to watch her videos in the era of contouring and baking...Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with that if it's moderate or it's for special occasions, but there are so many young girls here who think the only way to feel and look beautiful is to hide their natural features with tons of paint every single morning... As far as I can see Lisa always tries to enhance natural beauty. She appreciates diversity and definitely not trying to fabricate uniformed Barbie dolls with scary cheekbones and "perfectly shaped" eyebrows...
Her work is always classy, sophisticated and feminine. Oh and she has got a freakin' gorgeous accent....:)

I'm terrible at eyeliner, never ever have I worn a wing outside of my house, but I'm gonna try this one I course, maybe I'll succeed in like a year or two 😉
start with brown eyeshadow and an angle brush, and then when you get more confident, put over it some gel liner. but do not go right away to liquid, that´s the hardest one! you can do it girl!!!

Lisa, I so appreciate your tutorials. As someone who didn't learn about makeup growing up, and someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup regularly, I love that you give the opportunity to participate in trends without a cake-face. Also, great if you have to work in an office, since full foundation with strong makeup is innappropriate. (plus awful for your skin!)

I use this eye look every day because it's soooo much easier to do than a corner-to-corner look; I hate drawing all the way from the inner corner. This also helps my eyes look much more elongated because they're more round. Love you Lisa. 💕💝
