Yes, I've been pressured about this, pressured not to tell my story of a secretive, deceitful husband who disappears when I'm at home with our infant and toddler way back in 1991. I discovered the diaries in '92, and realized he'd been ideating a female persona and had a second life going all the way back to when I was pregnant with our second son. @@KatMoore-ih6mw There are 2 sexes and you cannot change sex. "Gender" is a grammatical term which was suddenly misused to mean sex when equal rights legislation giving women more protections were written using the word "gender," because "sex" has sexual connotations. That was a mistake. Belief of "born in wrong body" is an ideation. I have a channel, same as handle name here above, and data on 60 trans widows' experiences are available there, as well as links to my blog. It is no small matter that the Scandinavian countries are doing valid, statistically significant research, finding harms of "affirmative care" and changing course in their health and mental health institutions.

Sharon Osborne said something that made sense to me. These youngsters who all at once believe they are not the sex they were born are trying to find "their tribe". They are confused and humans tend to come together when they have the same beliefs. To kind of "believe" they are unique and superior in some sort of way. I'm sorry, they are being manipulated.

    • @katieandnick4113
      @katieandnick4113 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

Why do some teenagers seem to have a more desperate need to find a “tribe” than others? And why are they usually female? My hypothesis is that, as a result of the effects of patriarchy on the female psyche, very many mothers unconsciously and preemptively reject their daughters as they start becoming women in an attempt to avoid going through the extreme pain again that they experienced as girls when their mothers rejected them. When a girl goes through puberty, her mother begins to see her own mother in her. If she had a loving and accepting mother, she will welcome her daughter’s womanhood, but if she had a rejecting and insecure mother, she will fear it more than anything. Everything we know about women, we learn from our mothers. Women with rejecting, insecure mothers can handle their daughters when they are little, because they aren’t women yet and they are experienced by their mothers more as objects that can be controlled. Please do not take this as me blaming women for rejecting their daughters. We are all products of our circumstances and I don’t believe in free will. But it is impossible to address an issue when we are in denial about what the root of the issue is. I can say that I have caused my children suffering and pain without believing I am a bad person or a bad mother, but in our very black and white world, to criticize someone, especially a mother, is to necessarily imply she is a bad person/mother. Under patriarchy, girls are conditioned to believe that if they do anything “wrong”, they are worthy of discard. Beyond redemption. So they learn they must deny all wrong doing, and never acknowledge their roles in the suffering of their children, to themselves or anyone else. This is why patriarchy is so disempowering. It conditions us to never look within, because if we do, we will find something we don’t like, others will see it, and we will be thrown away. Nothing is more empowering than acknowledging the roles we play, and making an effort to change course. Patriarchy makes accountability terrifying for women, and especially for mothers.

@@katieandnick4113 Sorry but you gotta stop trying to blame everything on patriarchy, capitalism, and racism. And the,
"effects of patriarchy on the female psyche"?! Please! You're just acting as an apologist for wokeism.
The patriarchy isn't real and adolescents have been seeking their tribe going way way back. In the 40s girls sought identity as bobby soxers, back in the 20s it was flappers who sat on flag poles and swallowed live gold fish.
Many girls grow up without any mother, they're brought up by single fathers. No greater amount of LGBT among them. No difference between the two groups in the percentage of girls running out and getting sex change ops.
Just look how Shirley Temple fared as a motherless waif in the movie, 'Captain January'. And what about that classic sitcom, 'Bachelor Father'. "Niece Kelly" never wanted a sex change, she just wanted to listen to Frankie Avalon records and sip ice cream sodas at the beach.

Judith Butler's idea that "everything is a social construct" falls victim to the epistemology that day one Philosophers are supposed to learn: If 'everything is a social construct ' then the notion that everything is a social construct is therefore a social construct and is specifically invalidated as an objective method of understanding, making it false. Some ideas simply are not social constructions and that should be evident to anyone who studies Science Philosophically. I am retired and somewhat reclusive, so I don't have actual conversations about this.. But I have some thoughts about a hypothetical conversation. First, I would ask what the others mean by 'gender' and how 'gender' relates to 'sex'. Also, it seems to me that 'gender' is meaningless now, because there are so many genders, that it might as well mean the same thing as 'personality'. Gender seems to be either something immutable that we are born with, while at the same time being fluid and changeable. Again: meaningless. But we are a sexually reproducing species. I can't form a bud that splits off and grows into another human. There is no third gamete.

Gender ideology is an extension of a larger more dangerous issue. Put your tin foil hat on…
The methods with which gender ideologues silence and demand compliance is a kin of Marxist strategies (there are videos of blm engaging in struggle sessions, etc.) You’ll see this parallel blm, antifa, anti-west, pro Palestine activists.
Now it’s important to note not all involved espouse this rhetoric, many students are just used to push an agenda, also there is a genuine trans population out their but they understand reality and it’s unfortunate they are associated with those who are extreme. but there are plenty of which do.
I suspect the ultimate goal is to have a revolution in the west. James Lindsey talks about this in length but it’s intense to listen to and I don’t agree with everything he says. If you have interest, a good middle ground is a video titled, “The Forgotten Marxists of the 60’s”

Most of what he says is largely meaningless He's an evolutionary biologist he has specific intentions and needs and defines things a specific way for his particular science and evolutionary biologist is going to summarily ignore intersex for example even though there's 130 million of these people they're not fictional they're not fairy tales they exist because from an evolutionary perspective they're irrelevant most of them are sterile and can't reproduce so he doesn't care they're a dead end
He even tells you in the beginning he defines sex differently than for example a doctor does it's based on need and use They both have a different need and use for sex so they're going to define them differently both of their definitions mean nothing in the bigger picture what matters is how do people define sex
We don't mean what gametes do you have when we put mail or female on a job application we mean do you have tits do you have a vagina do you have a penis that's what we mean do you look like a woman or do you look like a man which genitals do you have hanging between your legs That's what we mean when we say male or female
The things that can define that go well beyond what he would use to define sex gametes chromosomes I think 26 some odd genes can impact your sexual appearance and of course your actual sex and your actual gender your genitals
Would it surprise you to know that the human species has four sexes? Would that surprise you? Would that make your brain smoke? Male female hermaphrodite in eunuch The latter two medically referred to as intersex.
So to drive my point home you're a small business owner you put out a job request One of the entries on your form is sex and because we're picking at straws here you want to be exactly right correct you want them to put down the correct sex right why else would you have that on the form?
So an intersection individual walks into your business there are hermaphrodite and they ask you politely which sex would you like me to put down which one are you buddy I'm both which one would you like me to put down because you are a Neanderthal you yank their pants down and see oh yeah he or she or I'm confused has both a penis and a vagina now that you've embarrassed yourself and them which sex would you like them to mark down?
Oh we got an even better one The next job applicant when you say what which one are you and this person says well I'm neither and of course you make a fool yourself and Yank this person's pants down and sure enough they got neither No penis no vagina which sex do they put down? Do we let you decide do we let them decide? what do they look like visually some might look like a woman some might look like a man some might look very androgynous you can't really tell which one they look like??
Is your brain done smoking yet? Let me burn those last few neurons now this hermaphrodite and this eunuch which gender do they put down? :-) Pop there goes your last set of neurons

Gender is a Latin word that just means a group of anything, and comes from a family of words, genre, genus and general all meaning a group of anything. The uptight middle class Victorians ( the sanctimonious woketards of that era) started to use the word gender instead of sex because they didn't like the other meaning of the word sex meaning to copulate. So gender actually means the opposite of a spectrum. What bothers me most, is certainly not the idea of transgender (probably beter discribed as transexual) and gender dysphoria, but the rainbow unicornucopia of ridiculous gender identities. Some of these things have nothing whatsoever to do with sex or gender. The so called 'otherkins' (cloudkind, catkind etc.) and such like, actually make a mockery out of sane trans people, who accept their biological sex as well as their gender identity and understand sex and gender to be binary.
Im still looking and asking around for proper research (peer reviewed articles) that establshes how gender essentialism was transgessed or usurped to become gender non-binary.
I have an interesting analogy. I was born with two hands surprisingly enough. I developed as a right handed person. Unfortunately I had an accident and broke my right arm.
Due to complications that aren't relevant, I never regained full use of my right hand. During my convalescence I had to force myself to use my left hand. Since then, neither hand is realy dominant, but I'm not completely ambidextrous either.
Now you might suspect im going to ask, whether I'm actually left handed or right handed. NO! My question is *'how many hands do I have?'* Is it TWO? YES! IT'S TWO. Nomatter what my brain wants to do with them or how change them physically (by accident or surgery etc.), the biological reality is that hands usually come in pairs and people take the form of left handed or right handed or some variations of ambidexterity. The evidence was after birth and the umbilical cord, and the worry is for the safety of both mum and baby……tests were done on the cord and it was discovered the baby is a boy, male. She said that I don’t get to determine who’s female since I’m a male, and that it was a shock to her that I wasn’t more accepting since I’m gay (and so is she).
That honestly was a shock to me so thankfully it came to me to ask “Why do you get to determine that the student is a she? That’s a boy and so am I, so if anything you don’t get to use the fact that you’re a female to call a male a she.” I was met with accusations of transphobia, obviously, but I just responded with how this whole thing was started by pedos to deliberately cause division and gain them a foot into society to be more accepted. Rather than having personality people are now claiming to be a different gender and its their only personality characteristic. Noone feels like they fit in growing up it doesn't mean that you have to choose something that makes no sense just to make yourself unique. The thing is the more people with mental problems saying they are like you the less you feel unique and the worse you will feel. Just grow up realise life isnt as easy as you thought and no matter what you claim to be only hard work and integrating into the workplace will make the money it takes to reach the goals you should be setting rather that the limbs you want chopped off. Theres a reason the suicide rate is high before and after 'changing gender' you have a mental probelm to deal with and saying your something your not isnt going to help it will only make things worse in the long run. *Sex* is a physiological attribute.
*Gender* is a socially constructed concept.
*Identity* is the psychological concept of the self.
*Gender:* Formed through continuous interactions and negotiations among society's members, meant to figure out and determine the sex of *other people,* without the need for direct inquiry of their sex. Oftentimes associated with a categorization of secondary sex traits, etc... This is society as a whole, attempting to find heuristics (mental shortcuts that your brain uses such as stereotyping) to quickly identify what sex of an individual is.
Thus, there can be no more than 4 genders (though there are usually 3), male, female, and "other" (both and/or neither). AKA a man, a woman, hermaphrodite, and unknown.
Part of the problem is the conflation of these three different fields of study, the physiological/biological, the sociological/socially constructed concepts , and the psychological realm of self-identity. Even when people try to differentiate say two of the fields, they still often conflate with the third.

I also keep hearing - ‘Trans people are being beaten/killed all the time’, of which I have yet to see any major evidence or news reports of, and ‘I grew up witnessing the struggle of so and so’, which honestly just translates to ‘I saw this on tv and wanted to face the same struggles and emerge like the strong butterfly too!!’, and I’m honestly just glad someone has the balls to stand up to this and put themselves and their career right now entirely on the line just to have to make truth the ultimate deciding factor.

Stick to what the truth tells one, not what one would prefer to tell oneself or others.
For this reason I can't agree with this enforcement of social standards that tells people 1) What to think or believe concerning the Trans debate. A man even if psychologically they feel like they are a woman is still a man and it's a mercy of others to adjust their behaviour for this person's own sake - it's not ever going to work where you have a system telling people that a man is a woman because of the above reason. The whole approach to dealing with people who have these complications in their lives needs to be re-evaluated - ultimately for their own benefit and peace of mind let alone everyone else operating a normal life within a society.

Supporting Trans nonsense is not “Coming Out” at all its being thrown into a completely different but just as damaging an ideology or dogma as any cult or religion!
