I love that for the most part you weren’t even caning the car, just enjoying the drive but being careful too. I like to drive that way too, nice video! Will definitely add this to my European Roadtrip from my home in Scotland for next year.
It's typical how you encounter almost no traffic for the first 7 mins, then the moment you overtake the Passat (I think) there is a car just around the next corner. Great vid, I would love to do this one day. Thanks for posting!
funkerror I’ve aLays thought that about the gallardo V10 although there’s maybe some technical relation between them? Much like Aston joined two Ford V6’s together to make their V12, perhaps Audi joined two inline-5’s to make the V10? No idea if there’s any truth in that though.
GoPro Hero 2. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Great and versatile piece of kit. If you are UK based and looking to get one, try dogcamsport, they are really good in my opinion.
What a fantastic road! The sound is amazing :) Did you use the Go Pro to record the sound? In my videos the sound of go pro is not so good like yours?! I can't hear windy noises, really great! :)
avec un c3 full stock 1.4 hdi (68HP), j'ai fait 14 minutes (en route ouverte comme là) en point de départ 21.55 jusqu'a l'arrivée là ou lui en met 11 avec une gallardo :) bientot je le refait avec ma civic ej9, pour le moment full stock aussi (90HP) on verra le temps :p sinon très belle route !
Thanks for your comment - yup, absolutely stunning to drive! A very intense but fantastic half hour or so. Very tight and twisty so most of it is gears 1,2 and 3 in Gallardo. Sound back off the mountain walls was immense. Yup, did use Gopro for the sound. Works well up to a certain speed, but then as you point out, wind noise takes over. Usually use the open back on it. Personally think it sounds better in all conditions. Fantastic bit of kit, but does have limitations on sound.
