    I look forward to your weekly vlogs. Thank you so much for sharing so much about your first grade classroom. Do you have your Number Talk slides available on TPT? I would love to purchase them to use in my classroom.

    How do I join your SJT CLUB?? Also, do you have PD videos on how you teach your resources? I’m living your writing and math!! Eek!
    I found your TH-cam channel when I was feeling like I needed a change in classroom set up last week. I have been feeling depleted and I am so thankful to have found you! It is soooo helpful and inspiring that you are in the classroom and I feeling like you are a true leader.
    I’m part of other great clubs but sometimes I feel like they are disconnected from the classroom as they make their products. Thank you for your inspiration

    Great video as always Susan! Thank you for sharing. Our 1st grade classes have been learning about insects and will present to the class a poster project about their insect on Monday. Children love to study about animals and of course they love being the teacher. Your “zoo” day sounds fun!

    Agree with the comment above - you are a great teacher & so appreciate you sharing! We use CKLA at the charter school I am at in Colorado & I struggle with how it seems to lack a consistent structure - it feels like it bounces around & doesn't circle back on skills enough. Looking forward to hearing more about what decision your committee comes to!

      This is great feedback! We had similar concerns about the structure.

    I would like to know how you make so many slides. I have used your materials so much this year. We did the Cats vs Dogs and I think that was the best project that the kids really loved. We then went to book creator online and each sentence became a page in their digital book with pictures they could find online. Thank you so much for all you do, for all you have taught me and allowed me to say if her kids are doing it, my kids can do it.

    Hello Susan,
    I also appreciate you! This is a side question… what do you do for homework? A possible future video?
    Thanks.

    Hi Susan! I LOVE watching your videos and using your products. I was just wondering what you thought of CKLA Knowledge Program? We are using it for the first time this year. I would love to hear your thoughts on it more. Thanks! Kathy

    We use HMH. Its great if your students are reading on level. The digital resources, worksheets, and books are great- they authentic literature. Im not crazy how they go all over the place and circle back to things. The writing workshop part is not great either. Our district opted to go with benchmark. We'll see what next year brings

    Can you tell me about the pouches on the back of your chair? What do you store in them? Are they sturdy? Would they be sturdy enough to store chromebooks?

    • @SusanJonesTeaching
      @SusanJonesTeaching  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      These ones are from Really Good stuff and they are not my favorite if I am being honest. They rip and wear pretty easily and I don't think they would be sturdy enough to hold chromebooks - it stretches out just from whiteboards being in the back!! My favorite chair pockets I ever had are called Aussie Pockets and they're denim. I am looking into them for next year!

    Good morning Susan, I was wondering which of the nonfiction animal research books you were able to order via the PTO grant did you find most useful for students to read and access the information. (National Geographic Kids, Ranger Rick, etc.)?

    Hello Susan --- Once again, your videos and sharing of your week is amazing and one of my favorite things to do on Sunday mornings. I already had purchased the decodable board games but when I downloaded the updated one, none of the multisyllabic game boards are there? Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to purchase again?
