i wish i could hear it in normal full speed speech b/c it does always sound different than sounding it out slowly, but these have been very helpful and I've learned a lot, thank you

Hi! I have a question. Why does washing machine pronounced as SEN-TAH-KEE instead of SEN-TA-KUH-KEE? Why is character "ku" not pronounced? Please help. Arigatou gozaimasu ^_^
