The common charges seem to only be violent entry into a restricted building, disorderly conduct, and obstructing law enforcement. Not exactly the crimes of the century here. I’m on the fence about the pension issue. Isn’t a pension essentially back pay (I.e. work already performed)? I believe that criminals should be punished and damages should be paid, but I’m not sure that outright canceling someone’s retirement savings is appropriate. Imagine if you committed a crime, did your time, and then they denied you social security.

I agree that all these “patriots” that stormed the Capitol should lose their pensions and any government benefits. If you aren’t happy with the Government don’t try and live off the Government.
