As a toy accuracy kinda guy, this thing looks great. One thing that has bothered me though in the post-G1 years. That box head. Before character models were solidified, mostly by the show and Derry's character drawings, you'd sometimes see really goofy looking, toy-accurate designs in early TF media. Sometimes Bumblebee had a square behind his head for example. But the 'toon design for Motormaster kept the box on the head, so to speak. I figure Motormaster's real head is what's inside the box. "What's in the box?" Indeed, Mr. Pitt. What indeed?
Not sure if you’ll see this Bobby but this was the version I purchased as well Menasor is one of my favorites due to how it made me feel as a kid the first time I saw it …. The first version and dx-9 just didn’t do it for me … but this version my inner child was screaming Buy It Now! Lol great review brother
You can tell Bobby actually likes this toy. He took the time to learn the transformation, he knew the "tricks" and there was no ham-fistedness at all in his transformation.
Did you say _"Ab Crunch"_ ?? Ha! That's more like A mid torso hinge joint... > Iconic Swwwwordd! Indeed. I always Loved His Blockhead. "Blockhead" w/ his head- _Put in on A tee!_ Thanks again Bobby
I love the toy aesthetic that XTB did for these. Even the box art has that nostalgia FEELS of finding these in the toy store. Still passing on that overpriced trailer though. These toy versions look great together on a shelf. Job well done sir!
I often wonder if Motormaster is supposed to look like he's wearing a hoodie. If so, adds to the stereotypical thug presentation that Autobots and even Decepticons would see in him.
Great little quick review........ something to be said about the Silver Accents - even with some of his "faults", I do prefer him over FTs, although FTs All In One is amazing even if he does have a back pack - Gotta Sacrifice something somewhere.
This was the only XTB toy deco figure that I purchased…the deco is dope, reminds me of the Toy (as it should), and I think he’ll work as a stand-alone piece…although I haven’t figured out exactly where yet lol.
It does NOT look like fun to EVER transform MP or Third party figures. Also, why risk breaking it? Which is why I’m fine with non transforming figures. Give me an alt mode and a CLEAN bot mode for $100 less because you save on the engineering.
Some of the older ones from MP10 to about MP28 are pretty simplistic & fun to transform. Among those are: MP10 Optimus Prime 2.0 MP12 Sideswipe/MP14 Red Alert MP13 Soundwave + MP15/16 Tape Minions MP17-19 Prowl, Bluestreak, & Smokescreen (this mold is kinda the G1 toy with extra steps) MP20 Wheeljack/MP23 Exhaust MP21 Bumblebee MP22 Ultra Magnus MP24 Starsaber (this one is EXTREMELY easy, possibly even easier than MP10) MP27 Ironhide/MP30 Ratchet MP28 Hot Rod/MP40 Targetmaster Hot Rod (this is literally the G1 toy with extra steps)
Look forward to getting this one. Using the Toy versions for vehicle modes, regular Xtransbots for Menasor, and Fans Toys for robot modes. The only Masterpiece I am collecting multiples of for each mode including alt modes since rhe Stunticons were always my favorite in the 80’s. Just need Wildrider and toon trailer from Xtransbots and that Dead End from Fanstoys to complete everthing. Maybe next year Fanstoys …. Maybe.
05:10 - Pick up one XTB accessories set to get the backpack guns for the cars in their altmodes to really complete that G1 look and feel. I doubt FT or anyone else will be making those and if you have the G1 toy nostalgia pull, they really do satisfy.
Wow 😯😃👏👏 they're doing their hands now like Fanstoys with the pin at the base(base pin knuckle) very nice to 👀, moving on up always nice 2 👀 cause I always h8d their hands, im actually rooting for this company cause what fanstoys r doing with their astronomical prices and subpar articulation at best is getting a little played out(and ima a Fanstoys Fanboy LOVE EVERYTHING FANSTOYS),but enough is enough im all in on the Fanstoys Stunticons, but im 🤔 long and hard about getting their Menasor set for combined mode cause he looks phenomenal 😀, 🙏🙏📹😃👍
Thanks for the review!! Do you happen to have pics or a video of the combined mode of this Youth version?
“This was on loan to me….” Bobby bought a figure 🎉❤️🔥
Soo many moments I thought that figure was gonna break. Jeebus Christy. For the amount of money it cost, I dont think the stress is worth it.
Transformered mine about 4x now it's pretty sturdy. It's looks flimsy but it's very good actually.
Sturdy plastics and a lot of diecast it’s worth the price and you will be fine
Love the toy decos.
Been waiting on this one.

A breath of fresh air compared to watching you transform THAT star scream
You can tell Bobby actually likes this toy. He took the time to learn the transformation, he knew the "tricks" and there was no ham-fistedness at all in his transformation.
Plus, the Facebook and Instagram pictures, he took the time to put the figure in great poses.

Do like the colors of this release.
Who is this? Bobby smooth hands?
Really nice bot! Looks sharp! Congrats 👍😁

Cant unsee that now.
Well, I guess I like him more now.
Gawdam options…..looks great!
The toy decos aren't for me but I have to say that metallic silver/gunmetal looks gorgeous.
Bobby "nice acrylic risers mack" Face!

This looks like a high quality figure compared to previous release
They're not going to release Flipout toy deco.
What do you mean? It's already out.
@@hailgrimlock4497 r-really?
@@Zyugo Yeah, had mine weeks.
Lol I’ve had mine for atleast a month now

I like the combined mode of the Toy version. I think I will get the trailer for this and use it with my regular figures. 😁
I wish I would have waited till the toy version of the trailer. I think that looks better then the regular release.
I'm still mad that the toy version of the trailer comes with the accessories that were a $75 add-on to the normal trailer...
I hear you.

Can it become menasor?
Motormaster quoting Stunticons form Menasor!
Very nice! Wish I could get this figure, but one is usually my limit.
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK DOES YOUTH VERSION MEAN?
@8:06 I don't know what, but something flew off when you flipped the "bumper" up. Hopefully nothing too important.
Great articulation. Why does Fans Toys hate doing ratcheted hips out to the side? Would have really helped a lot of their figures.
I prefer the 1st version of this figure not a fan of this version
Hate what? U just totally glossed over that.
