Thanks for this great advice. K18 repaired my bleached, damaged hair, and now it feels great now. A little goes a long way to repair the hair.

Thank you, I’ve started using epres and like it. I’m wondering if anyone has sprayed ad left in overnight?

@@1858sasha It's not necessarily "bad" to leave Epres Bond Repair Treatment spray in overnight, but it may not be necessary or optimal. Here’s why:
      1. Product Functionality: Bond repair products, like Epres, are designed to work within a specific timeframe. Most bond builders work effectively in 10-30 minutes. Leaving it in longer may not yield additional benefits and could potentially lead to buildup.
      2. Hair Texture and Residue: Leaving the product in overnight might make your hair feel stiff or sticky, especially if it wasn't meant to be used as a leave-in treatment.
      3. Comfort and Risk: Sleeping with wet or damp hair can create friction, increasing the risk of breakage or tangling.
Follow the instructions provided by Epres for the best results.
If you want an overnight treatment, consider using a product specifically designed as a leave-in conditioner or overnight mask.
If you accidentally leave it in overnight, it’s unlikely to cause harm. Just rinse thoroughly the next day and condition your hair to avoid buildup

Thanks, I didn’t think of some of this. Being lazy, guess I just need to get up 15 min earlier:).
To help my hair get healthy.
      Appreciate you!

My stylist told me to use the Epres on dry hair like a leave-in conditioner and never mentioned that I needed to shampoo and condition afterwards. So currently I have had it in my hair all day. I guess it won’t make that big of a difference, but I’m disappointed that the packaging with the product did not contain instructions on how to use it. Therefore, I was just going off what my stylist said. She said to spray it on as a way to revive my curls and be a healing treatment on non-wash days.

Thank you so much for the video I wanted to ask what do you think of Redken Bonding Treatment for Damaged Hair Repair | Acidic Bonding Concentrate | Intensive Bonding Pre-Shampoo Hair Treatment is it the same as k18 or opalex

    • @diyhairschool4445
      @diyhairschool4445  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@@driveu7 Olaplex and K18 focus on repairing hair damage-Olaplex rebuilds broken bonds, while K18 works deeper to repair damage at a molecular level. Redken Acidic Bonding Treatment strengthens bonds too but also hydrates and smooths the hair, making it great for dryness and manageability, but it's meant for strengthening not repair, making it different. If you're asking about Redken Pre-Art, it’s more of a clarifying treatment to remove buildup, not a repair product

Thank you for the excellent review of bond products! Wrt k18, I have read that the product should be used 4 - 6 consecutive times after every coloring service. Because I color my roots every 5 weeks and shampoo my hair once per week, that would mean using k8 every time I wash my hair. Is that correct?

@@summersadie3687 you could do it that way, I however used it 6 consecutive times when I first got it, and now I use it every 5th time or so I wash my hair (despite dying my roots every 2-3 weeks)

I'd love to see you test some of the drugstore alternatives! K18 seems to be working for me alright so far but it is one of the few high end products I found to be worth it. I hesitate to shout about it to the whole world since it is so incredibly expensive.

@@FaceItGrace there really aren't any drugstore alternatives to these products. There are bond strength products at the drugstore but they work on a more surface level, they do not penetrate like the products in this video. K18 is the only product that has its specific technology
